DIY Acrylic pour on Dinner Tray
I have done acrylic pours on tables, but tried doing in on a few dinner trays. Pretty much the same process with extra taping as not to get paint and resin on legs and customized for the recipient. Makes a nice accent piece, for it's different and pretty.

DIY Decorating Large Glass Vase
Переглядів 4714 годин тому
This is a large glass vase that was being used as an umbrella stand that I redecorated with colored rope and painted some natural foilage. To replace the vase, I actually bought a silver galvanized umbrella stand that I also intend to decorate. Easy project idea you might want to try to spruce up the home. DIY Poster on Canvas and Acrylic Pour
Переглядів 172 місяці тому
A few months back, I was commissioned to do a poster, but as opposed to using poster board or foam board, I did it on Canvas with an Acrylic Pour as the background and vinyl adhesive letters. The lettering was a little bit challenging, but it worked and resin well.

I originally dyed this leather bag a denim blue to match my first dye of a polyester jacket. I gave the jacket away and decided to Re-Dye it black. ua-cam.com/video/AhHTYAchm9E/v-deo.html
DIY Whole Canvas Gel Pour

Attempted a Pour with a full Gel canvas. ( actually 2 small canvases) It wasn't as pronounced as I wanted it to be in showing the different textures of the gels, so I will probably be revisiting.
DIY Mixed Media Pour (Tried the Frog Tape)
Переглядів 336 місяців тому
I did a test mixed media pour using Frog Tape. The first time I heard of it was when I started acrylic pouring. My Blue Sharp Lines work well so I didn't change, but thought I would try. I was impressed that my go to is the Froggy Tape now, especially on big paint and resin projects.
DIY Dutch Pour Flower Clean Up!
Переглядів 566 місяців тому
I have been trying to do the Dutch Pour with blow dryer to form flowers and leaves that actually look like flowers and leaves. Just can't seem to master, but I will keep trying. Here is another one I messed up, but fixed using pull chain. Another technique you may want to try.
DIY Glow Paint on Canvas

Never worked with this type of paint in all the years of painting. Tried this set out and after much needed research, may re-visit, for it has potential for a nice craft project. The grands love it though!
DIY Deep Pour Resin Experiment (Aquarium)

I want to make an 8" Resin Pyramid without the layers of resin showing, so I practice working with the deep pour resin on a mini aquarium.

For fun, I tried doing a Tryptyk with the blow dryer as opposed to tilt on a twice used canvas. I was pleased with results, so I resined.
DIY Acrylic Pour using Homemade Stencil Part 2

This was my second attempt of using a stencil I made, but the blow dryer technique. Had problem with the tape so will be searching for an even better tape (video to come) but was able to clean it up.
DIY Acrylic Pour Using Homemade Stencil Part 1
Переглядів 378 місяців тому
I tried making my own stencil for an acrylic pour to get away from total canvas abstract, and pour an object. I tried it 2 ways. This first one the stencil worked but not the pour. The second try (Part 2 Video) the pour worked, but not the stencil! LOL But here is another idea you can try with these pours.

Good Base for 2 oz. Diffuser Oil Measurements I used 20% Fragrance/Essential Oil .04 oz. (12 ml) 80% Carrier Oil 1.6 oz. (48ml) 2 Drops Alcohol Mix well If the oils still separated add 1 drop alcohol at a time until clear This worked for me using 2 different carrier oils (Fractionated Coconut and Augeo Multi Clean) and a good essential and fragrance oil. I love the way the trays turned out! Especially liked how you personalized them.
Beautiful! What a great idea. You made a plain glass vase into a work of art! Easy to do instructions. Might have to try on my own. Brother is going to love it.
It would have been nice to have seen the process, including the sanding.
20% of my Videos are Tutorials which I do record the entire process, the other 80% are just ideas I come up with using my creativity, imagination, and crafting skills on projects that might or might not work with hope of inspiring others to do the same. I do state in detail what I did, give the supplies I used and whether it worked or not with any hints I found along the way, and I'm always open for any questions if someone wants further details. I simply don't record the entire process of me sanding, gluing, painting, for these videos will be way too long. Thanks for the feedback, have a wonderful day.
Hi miss Cindy. First of all thank you for sharing all of your vase and coasters fluid art with everyone. They really did turn out beautifully done. If you don’t mind I have a couple questions. How long do you let the paint dry before resining them? And how long do you let them dry after resining them? I’m sorry just one more question. Do you use art resin or something else? I’m sorry so many questions. Thank you for your time Miss Cindy and have a great day 😊
@@smougeotte61 Hi! I mainly use Art Resin when I can afford. But also Marine Tabletop for items in contact with food, and Michaels has a decent resin (with odor though) called Aluminite Amazing. Drying time varies. I may resin after a couple of days, unless I'm using gel medium or silicone. Must make sure dry. Thanks for asking!
@@misscindy6474 Thank you again for your time. Much appreciated 🙏
Beautiful! Love the hair dryer method.
Liked thought, thanks.
Great idea! Love it
That’s so cool!
Does the Mod podge act as a glue on puzzle?
Yes
Is the resin a strong smell to use inside?
It depends on the Resin and I have just one spot designated for that n wear masks, open slider.. For me, Im going to say the Artresin is the least smell, the resins I get Like at Michaels is strong. Once dried, no smell 4 any of them.
Do you have to resin it
No, but I put protective covering over my paint projects to preserve. You can simply brush on a varnish, polyurethane clear top coat etc, which is how I started out. But will never go bk to not resining. Not only preserving, but that resin just makes the colors pop especially metallics.
Never knew you could repaint a leather purse. It came out looking great!
I didnt either, but had nothing to loose. Really like it, so far no issues, but need to see how it lasts.
You got some steady hands. I probably would have it all over. Pretty!
I LOVE THE COLOUR THANK YOU
Beautiful! I love the triangle shapes.
Very nice 😊
It's interesting to see the results. The paint coming out of the colander was gorgeous. But tilting etc certainly can change the end results. Love your attitude. It's ugly and then you say you're going to paint over and start again. Frog tape did work great!
I'm just keeping it real. All pours don't come out as planned or pretty. And because I video some stuff I've never done before, you get to see what actually happens. Thanks for Feedback have a great day!
The chain pull one is gorgeous! You are too funny on the first one "I hate it"
TY, just being honest. they all don't come out good! lol
Deep pour resin takes much longer to cure than regular resin. And because it cures slowly it gets rid of bubbles better. I’m pretty sure you could sand the finish project and reduce the visibility of the line. Good luck on your big pyramid.
I like your idea. If you pour your layers before they completely cure, that will solve the line issues. If you wait too long that’s when the lines are visible. I’m still watching.
Pretty cool!
This is awesome. I would love to do some crafts with you. You are beyond talented. ❤
That centerpiece is absolutely incredible! 2-28-24 8pm
It's looks amazing. The colors are beautiful too. I also like the smokey look too.
Thank you for posting another video.
Amazing, great job, you made it look so easy, thank you
Thank you for your fascinating training! I can’t wait to try this! I love the idea of doing tiles that match the vase. Can’t wait gonna try it on Monday.

Happy Holidays Ms. Cindy! sooo glad I bumped into your channel now I can learn how to do the acrylic pour with extra acrylic 🎉🎉 I subscribed! Excellence idea 💡👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Question: What size Are your Coasters and where did you get them? Did you resin your coasters as well or were they already shiny? Got them beautiful
Same to you and yours! TY Coasters - Home Depot 4x4. And yes you also resin, just make sure you tape off bottom. I already learned that lesson! lol

Every thing looks great.
Which quality of Acrylic Paints do you use How do you mix the Paints please
Most of my paints are Ceramcoat and Decoart metallic xsheen. Very basic affordable, quality paint. My black/white are Anita cause I use so much of it . I usually mix 1 part paint, 1 part floetrol. As you become an expert your paint choice might change to higher quality, and your mixing recipes will change but im no expert n these work 4 me doing this acrylic pour. When painting with brush 4 yrs it was always Apple Barrel n Folkart. Hope this helps.
I am so glad I found your site. I like the way you share.
Thank you. I'm basic but like to share the facts of my processes.
This was really helpful! Thank you for the great tips! Loved your work. I am subscribed!
Beautiful- keep up the great work ❤
What do u put on the back of your coasters😊
