Comparing english teams performance in europe, you can't look at 1 season and draw your conclusion. The sample size is too small, look at the last 10 seasons. I think the serie A was at its peak in the 90s to early 2000s. The scandal that led to juventus being relegated led them to lose a lot of international fans. They've not been the same since then. Juve, ac milan, inter, roma, lazio, napoli are huge clubs, but on the whole most of the other clubs would be relegated in the premier league.

We had 5 fulls backs on the pitch Fonseca just moved shit around and prayed it worked. The defense was the backbone this game. I'm done trying to be optimistic Fonseca is clearly a fraud or sold us a lie. He has the mentality, but where is the build up or the tactics that will lead us to winning consistently. Every game has been like a gamble and it's giving me false hope. Reijnders is too good top 3 midfielder itw (deadass) and fofana was carrying the midfield. In my opinion our budget, manager, and players are mid table type of players. We are not on level with a team like inter on a consistent basis. Also the management makes so many questionable decisions and its basically where they throw us player's like emerson royal, loftus, and tammy abraham and expect a manager to do something with them. No hate to the players but they arent top 4 serie a material. In my opinion fonseca is a good coach but when hes forced to use players that dont fit his system its a mess.

MeMarco, I feel the exact same way. I’m done with the excuses from Fonseca and I’m also done with the bullshit excuses from Ibra, Furlani and Moncada. No sense of urgency at all to get a goal in this game, just a bunch of sideways and backwards passes with nothing to show for it. For me, heads have to roll at this point.

All there was to this game was just bad defending. Just horrid. If pavlovic just put average an average performance we wouldve won 3 - 1. Tomori is our best defender and should start every game since he can keep up with all fast players.

The attack is good, Pulisic is on the greatest form of his career, Reijnders is amazing, Leao is getting back into it, maignan is great, Morta does what he’s supposed to, Fofana does pretty good most of the time but the defense line is so inconsistent when we have 4 rotating CBs and full backs that like to push up, it really compresses our defense and doesn’t allow the team to be complete
