@@OregonCoastWildlife hey so this is a man made beach it get to about 8 feet deep then drops to 20-25 under the park so not too deep

My concern is that gold is heavy and it will sink beyond the depth capability of a Pulse Dive. Do you have a detector that will go below 16’?

@@OregonCoastWildlife no, way out of my budget unfortunatly. maybe some day, I do ocasionally hit a layer of shells and rocks so maybe there is a hard bottom to it, I'm also not the only diver that hits this spot either the other guy has the excalabur and its a two man team... I get what I can but I'm late to the game I think its basically cleaned out now. next year I'm going to be trying new areas. there will be less traffic in these areas but i should be the first guy there...

The Deus 2 is $1199 and it’ll go down to 66’. I’m going to dive in some swimming areas this coming year, so I’m going to have to measure the depth in some of the areas, because I only have an Equinox 900. It looks like you have a Legend, so it looks like we’re in the same predicament.

@@OregonCoastWildlife I do have the legend, and I take it to 8 feet anything deeper I use the pulse dive it can do 200 feet (not interested in treasure hunting that deep but it can lol). if you dont have a super popular swimming area (and wealthy) and absolutly love doing this I feel the cost justification isn't there. I put in at least 30 dive this summer and profitted 2 gold rings and a heavy silver chain maybe $350 in scrap prices. and this water park has thouasands of people on it over the summer from all over the world. and the other diver's I know have found more gold than me but they also where first on this spot. now that its "cleaned" out it's going to be luck to find more... and like an idiot I started posting videos about it so now everyone in my area will be trying to find stuff...

@@Confidential619 sorry not all my videos have the same intro showing where I am. I dive under a floating obstacle course and I guess some people buy these bags so they can still bring their phones to get pictures. This girl jumped off a high obstacle and the phone just came right off her neck! She’s lucky I was there that day to find it!

she was so happy to get it back! she had her phone stolen before and the find my phone feature did not go well she told me and that was why the cops accompanied her this time, it was for her safety so i never thought about it that way.

@@spagsketti I was having dinner when they showed up in my pj’s after I answered the door they asked for the phone I found today! I was astonished lol. After explaining the situation to the cops the girl was actually hiding behind a bush near the side walk! She came forward after she seen I wasn’t a jerk and we talked and laughed about the loss but she asked me not to post her footage. So I just respected her wishes. The cops I didn’t get footage of unfortunately I was unprepared… won’t happen next time lol

I'm not the only diver that has hit this spot, I was late to the game... I think its getting fairly cleaned out at this point... next year I've got a list of new spots though!

@@Spacey_UK I use both, I often solo dive and my hookah is supplying me air, then my scuba tank is my back up if some thing happens. The hookah I use is the aqua robo 819. Link in the description of the video. It’s advertised to be capable of 59 feet I think it was. But in my opinion I’ll never take it past 30 feet. I find it can’t keep up with me and I’ll switch to my scuba tank a few times per dive just to catch my breath and let the compressor rest. I highly recommend scuba training as the risks are the same and drowning is not something anyone wants. I am working on a review video to show it in more detail soon, with all my safety recommendations.

@@KarenCeleste-op6bx well I tried different things, but all have failed , any silt I disturbed or marked by dragging a stick in it all resulted in my next visit appearing completely untouched. I thought maybe a rope to keep track of where I’ve been but I got tangled up in the tall weeds, needless to say tangled up under water isn’t ideal. so then I tried gridding but it’s hard to maintain a grid under water, only so many hands to hold a compass , metal detector, digging, lights cameras and so on. it’s actually very difficult. Most my videos I aim for 10 minutes and some times it’s 3 days of diving to get that. Then on top of all that I’m not the only diver that goes to this spot so I have no idea where they have searched. It’s basically a huge gamble every time. Pick a spot dive down look around and get what you get. We joke around that we basically make 1$ per hour on land -10$ per hour under water. I hope this helps your question lol

You don't need a boat u can easily walk out to it people walk from boat to boat with coolers attached to a leash and a life jacket...it's across lake Simcoe In the pefferlaw area

Unfortunately there is lots of other detectors that beat me to almost anything on or near the beach that’s why I got back into scuba diving, it’s very expensive and requires training to do so most people don’t go where I go. And it’s dangerous, one thing goes wrong and it’s a breath of water not air…
