6 Low Maintenance Plant Settups! Stop Stressing Over Your Plants and Just Enjoy Them!
Hi, thank you for the video 💚 tackling a few of these plant varieties in the last year and they are a labour of love for sure 😅 You mentioned they need ample fertilizer...I know many houseplants don't need it so much during the winter months, does this rule apply to these plants or do they benefit from some during this time?
Thank you so much for this information. I have a Hindu Rope Hoya- my 3rd one, first 2 died a horrible death. This one is not doing well at all and now I understand it more. I kept wondering why all of a sudden it had no roots to actually speak of. Now that I can see what root rot looks like (the little hair like on the roots) that helps me a great deal. I looked at it today, new pot, new soil, cut a some roots off the ones I knew were rotted, but now I think I need to go back and do the others. Cut off the roots and start over. Thank you for the peroxide clarification too. This is my favorite house plant and I really want it to stay with me for a long time.
I have only had them bloom while in water! Maybe I need to water more? One variety I've had for probably 20 years just bloomed for the first time!! YAY!!!
Love your delivery! Where do blue oil ferns and heart leaf ferns fall? Thank you
Great video! I have spider mites issue right now…😢
Well… now I know why they didn’t do that well for me.. 😂❤ next year!
Begonia number 4?? Give me a solid answer on why the petiole of half the leaves just shrivelled up overnight? The leaf plant and stem otherwise is incredibly healthy 😢
Why is my lipstick plant dying. It's in a low light window and somewhat damp not soaked.
Wonderful plants❤
peperomia is sensitive can die quickly

right? mine loves a west facing window - gets direct sun for around 3ish hours, indirect for most of the day
I have one from a big box store. How do I know if it’s ready to repot or happy where it is? There is some crisping of leaves but also new growth. I’ve had it for 3 days. 😊
Thanks beautiful 😊
You have helped me alot!really well explained🙂
Thank You
Great video. I love how you say Houseplant parent. 😊
How to order caladium
There are people who sell them on Etsy.
I bought mine on Etsy. They were beautiful! I just can’t get the hang of not letting them rot. 😢
@@monicabuhler1852there is a dormancy period , let them rest . Make sure your soul / sand combination does not make it water logged. Good luck. 👍😸
Got mine from Lowe's
To wet get a new mix@@monicabuhler1852
Do you have to pull the WIC up into the soil? I’m worried it won’t be close enough to the route to drop water. I think there’s going to be an inch or two of soil between the roots and the wick.
Thanks so much for the great info! ❤

indoorgardening.com/indoor-plant-care/fertilizing-indoor-plants/ These plants are epaphytic so they grow on trees or other plants and absorb nutrients through their foliage or aerial roots not through roots in soil like terrestrial plants. A foliar spray is a fertilizer sprayed directly on the foliage. They are usually marketed to orchids and are known as an orchid spray or orchid fertilizer. The truth is this type of fertilizer would be great for any of these epaphytic plants. It can also be used with other soil fertilizers like in the case of Hoya. the foliar spray is often used to encourage blooming for Hoya in addition to fertilizing normally. 🪴More on indoorgardening.com #houseplants #PlantTok #plantcare #orchid #fern #fertilizer #orchidfood #foliarspray #epaphytic #Hoya #tropicalcactus #Peperomia #dischidia #antherium #houseplantsoftiktok

Your plants will stretch out (etiolate) searching for light if they dont recieve enough. Once your plants stretch out those leaves will stay that way for their life. However if you give it better light then the new leaves should come in just fine. there are plenty of articles and videos out there talking about no light plants and all plants need light. We do have other videos on types of light and grow lights if you need more information.
