Does this Watchtower have a name?
You bet, it's Park Butte Fire Lookout
You better than me cause I be prepared for anything with my first aid kit
Never hurts to be extra prepared when it comes down to it haha
@hikewithsteph true. I got more than enough 😌
Congrats On The 200 subs , channel looks amazing!
@@BigCatRanch thank you very much! 😀
Yo stop it. You are in my feed here too 😅
Hahaha surprise!
That's nice
Such a pretty hike
Wow, looks stunning! I love the meadows and the lake. And it's so nice the cabin is stocked! This is on my bucket list now!
You could definitely do the hike and you'd love the drive up. Let's go some time!
Added to the list❤
I hope you'll make it there!
So there is a wooden piece where the spare tire goes. It’s under that plastic. If you take that piece out, you can lay it flat on the back it and it make it perfectly flat.
Ohhhh I'll tell my friend so she tries that! Thanks!
shannon falls.. is that that super dangerous one if you go in it?
Yes depending on what time of year has to be late summer when the water levels are low to go into the pools
Bruh just stay home and come in the morning
Nah bruh, I like waking up and already being in nature :)
Lovely short my friend 🥾🥾
Thank you for watching!
No sound
Turn up your volume? Working on my end! :)
this is perfect!!!!!
Thanks girl!
I love seeing new people especially females doing car camping. I'm going to get out there soon! Enjoy!
Car camping is very empowering for me as a female... because I still feel safe to go camping solo because I can drive away / lock my vehicle. :)
🤍🤍
Love the 360 shots. Great video 👏 🏔️
Thanks friend!!
This is the most underrated video I’ve ever seen on UA-cam
Appreciate you saying that
Are there bears?
Sometimes there's black bears up there yes but I've never seen them up there
Love this hike
Such a beautiful hike
Do you get constipated with the dehydrated meal?
No I don't... if anything I'll get the opposite problem 🙃 usually I'm okay though as I bring digestive enzymes with me
Hello good your country 😌 i love Your post
It does the job. Nothing complicated.
Sometimes simple is the best way to go!
New to your channel great video 😊

Hello
Hi!
#IAMNOWPACKEDANDREADY
Guys I live in Canada 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
@@asreetlikesdogs8225 happy to call Canada home 😍
Canada is amazing. Alberta and BC are out of this world beautiful
@user-fb6ns4zq2r yes I agree and am a little biased being from BC and also spending lots of time in the rockies haha. But I also loved Newfoundland, Quebec and the Yukon when I traveled to those provinces. Each province has some really cool places but for nature/hike lovers BC and the rockies are hard to top
love it!!! that mat took you 15 seconds to blow up for real hahah
Haha ya its so fast! Perfect for a last minute set up!
On some older maps & pages they called this hike Porcupine peak 😀
Ya I totally forgot that until someone mentioned it to me recently
Where are all the people???? 😮 Usually this spot is buuuusy 😅
Oh they were there... and they were loud lol 😆
Beautiful wilderness
So beautiful here in BC
Here's why 👇 1. Takakkaw Falls in Yoho National Park is claimed to be the 2nd tallest waterfall in Canada. Looks so cool coming off the Rocky mountains. 2. Grizzly Falls in Nahatlack Park is a massive waterfall off a forest service road... I think this one's actually my favorite waterfall. Cool thing is no hiking required as you drive right to it. 3. Moul Falls at Wells Gray Park is so neat as you can run behind the waterfall! 4. Helmcken Falls also at Wells Gray Park is a very unique waterfall with minimal effort to get to. 5. Hidden waterfall at Sombrio Beach on Vancouver Island. So neat to find this mossy cave waterfall tucked away from the beach. Have you been to any of these waterfalls?
Did I bump into you today?
No I did this trail a couple of weeks ago
I did like the description you gave in the video. It makes clear what to expect on this hike - the demanding terrain, the steepness, distances, and elevation gain. Certainly I'd enjoy visiting here at some point - just not if it's wet! Thank you for taking the time to produce the account and show the stunning views of this alpine route.
Thank you, I bumped into a lot of people who didn't research much before hand and were quite surprised by what they were getting themselves into. I hope this helps any others new to the trail to be properly prepared before hand.
Que maravilla ❤ donde es ?
Vancouver island BC Sombrio Beach:)
Nice
So nice!
Great video! Thanks for sharing your favourite spots. I love that area of the island very much!
Thanks Katy, such a beautiful area, I'm glad I finally explored that part of the island. Can't wait to go back!
Yay 🎉 great video 👏
Thanks Lee!! 😀
I need a 360 cam. Makes cool video.
Yes I'm really enjoying it! Still have so much to learn with the editing app!
I only did one hike in Newfoundland. And it was this one.
It's a good one!!
Love these hikes!
Very nice beautiful video regards from Greece❤😊
Thank you very much! 😀 I hope to visit Greece some day!
@@hikewithsteph You are wellcome
Slhaney peak starts behind the infamous Stawamus Chief in Squamish, BC. To access the trail I recommend downloading an @alltrails map to get exact directions to the trailhead plus be able to find your way on the trail, as there are a number of junctions in the trail and it can get confusing which way to go. If you check out all of the viewpoints plus go to the actual summit, the trail is around 6.5 km with 600m elevation gain. Yesterday, we chose to skip the true summit because, as I mentioned, there are no views there. So by doing that, we did 5km return and 500m elevation gain. This trail is still lesser known but will get busier in the afternoon, so go earlier to avoid crowds. You'll also see rock climbers here as there are a few climbing routes on this trail too! The trails back here also connect to go up the backside of the chief, so you can extend your adventure if you're feeling ambitious! PS, excuse me if I pronounced the trail name wrong, I'm not totally sure that's the correct pronunciation, lol. Have you hiked this trail before, or are you adding it to the list now?
Beautiful! I'm going to head up there next! Thanks for sharing
Been a minute since I’ve seen one of your videos! I’d love to come along and bring my drone to get some epic shots!
Great video!!! I can’t imagine going Needle in the snow!
It was a bit of a slog up lol but thankfully the rock was dry and bare for the scramble at the end
