are you using original hdb tiles for your kitchen? for your living room and bedroom, did you lay vinyl over cement floor or over hdb tiles? is that a super single or queen size bed?

To help me do the budget planning, can share/ tell us whether: #1. the house is a bare house given to u or is it partially furnished w flooring tiles (incl toilet)?? #2. any idea non working person (like myself) can qualify for the grants or not? #3. did u engage someone to plan n design yr decorations etc? #4. Mind sharing more on what yr reno involved, example tiling floor, bathroom. What about those nice wash basin, hall furnishings, wardrobe, kitchen cabinet etc are they all part of the reno? Did the contractor design them for u? I mean the contractor did evthing is it? How much? Can share more of the big ticket items for my ref ($$$ budget)? Appreciate it 🙏🌻. Notes: I like yr hall n toilet.... Lol.
#1 mine was partially furnished. Kitchen and bathroom flooring tiles was done by HDB . #2 No idea about the grant thingy for non working person or senior scheme. Best you check with HDB. #3 I did engaged an ID to plan and design my flat , you will need to tell the ID what you want ( example false ceiling , conceal of bomb shelter, feature wall for tv etc ) 4# my Reno consists of 1. Fabricate L box false ceiling around living and dining area 2. Fabricate false ceiling at foyer area 3. Fabricate vanity for top mount sink ( sink need to buy yourself ) 4. Frosted tempered glass door 5. Fabricate feature wall for TV 6. Fabricate laminate tic tac wall for household shelter 7. Fabricate sliding wardrobe for bedroom 8. Fabricate kitchen cabinets 9. Plumbing works 10. Electrical works 11. Painting works 12. Miscellaneous work. All the above exclude furnitures and electrical appliances cost . 5# Total cost for my renovation 21k ( exclude furnishings and electrical appliances)

Just Reno alone 25k + . The id I engaged wasn’t very good . You can engage any ID and tell them you want a feature wall to cover up the bomb shelter .

Around 3 yrs
How long did it take for u to get your bto and how much did the reno cost?
Waited almost 3 & half years to collect key and Reno cost around 21k plus excluding furnitures and electrical appliances.
