I haven't finished the film yet. My husband was a pilot for 23 ears of the service and now flies the 777 for Fed Ex. It is a lonely life. You're alone more than together, literally. I've done it for 32 years. Now, both my son and daughter serve as pilots for the service. Unless you've lived it, ten years doesn't count, sorry. My advice is to live your life like you are single, except for dating, etc. Have a completely different life that does not involve the military or anything, or you'll go crazy being alone SO MUCH. It's sad because you're married, without your significant other there 1/2- 3-4 of your life. I’ve been married for 32 years. Maybe that's why we've made it for 32 years, lol. Lord knows most couples nowadays give up because marriage is work, but it's so worth it if they're the right one. Make each moment memorable, and don't let the day-to-day bother you. Cherish the meals together, the smallest gestures, and every kiss because you never know when it will be the last. I might be superstitious, but before every flight, I ALWAYS say, “ Be safe baby ❤️.”
