Hiking off track in Australia can be brutal.. This mountain was no exception.
Very few people have hiked up this mountain and even less have loaded up with overnight gear and camped up here. 10 hours, with 25kg on the back, pushing through very dense scrub, in the harsh Northern Australian sun.. This was no easy accomplishmeant and definitely not for the faint of heart.
We hadn't seen any photos from up here before so there were many times we questioned if it would even be worth it. We kept pushing on and the hard yards definitely paid off. The views were EPIC and the serenity was as pure as it gets. I might even do it again next year 🤷♂️

I reckon this has to be one of the most unique mountain top views in all of Australia. The way all the creek systems and mountain ranges align and create such a picture perfect frame for a photo.. My partner and I (from North Queensland) decided to hire a van for 10 days and travel the west coast of Australia. We clocked up over 3000km in 10 days driving from Perth to Exmouth and back! This is by far one of the most inaccessible waterfalls we've made it to so far! Which is why it made it one of the most rewarding ones too.. Definitely one of the more wilder missions we done and this waterfall was so sick!! Out of all the 'secret' waterfalls I've been to this one definitely makes the top 3!
