MYA - AGILITY A DISTANCIA - DISTANCE AGILITY
Por culpa de una lesión grave de cadera, Mya y yo nos vimos obligados a aprender a trabajar la distancia y la independencia. Yo ya no puedo correr y era o eso o nada y el nada no era una opción. y descubrí lo impresionante que es y como te puede llegar a sorprender tu perro cuando tiene las cosas claras. La conexión es máxima.
Para mi la conducción a distancia y la independencia tiene dos pilares fundamentales.
- Que el perro focalice el obstáculo. El perro te ve pero no te mira... focaliza el obstáculo que tu le vas diciendo que tiene que hacer.
- Que el perro tenga claras una serie de ordenes verbales que le guiarán por la pista.
La conducción a distancia tampoco tiene por qué ser toda la pista, depende de las necesidades de cada uno. También puede ser un recurso para determinadas secuencias donde no llegas por lo que sea.
Y sobre todo .... si tienes una lesión o algo que te impida correr.... no abandones..... tu perro y tu podéis seguir disfrutando del Agility de otra forma 😃

Your two dogs are absolutely adorable, and so talented! Just looking at their pic at the end, it’s obvious their happy and want to please. My Westie, Sophie, died in September, but I can remember how graceful she looked when she jumped-over anything at full “gallop.” My daughter just got a new Westie puppy: agility is a dream presently. I just subscribed to your channel.

Tis a pure gift ..&.. blessing to love them. When we had to make the most ❤️ breaking decision to let our little Westies soul run free to the rainbow 🌈. I wrapped her within my help for hero's t-shirt. which I still have to this day. As Snowy was a little hero. She ignited a light within the ❤️ of those she met .&. blessed. Absolutely beautiful!! so very special little lady🐕🥰❤️🤗 ❤️ full of unconditional love ..&.. Yet equalled in fight within that of a lion.
I watch this video over and over again...so so beautiful! My dog is two and a half years old now. I made the decision to adopte this breed of dog because of this video. I do not regret this choise in any way. Thanks!
