Aww your piggies are so cute! June looks like my youngest pig Mabel, she just has a few more stripes on her back :) i have 4 piggies (2 seperate pairs) tried to bond an adpoted baby (Willow) with my older pigs (Florence & Dougal) but it was unsuccessful unfortunately, but thats how we ended up with Mabel! A general rule for bonding is if they start a fight and draw blood from the either pig, then it most likely won't work out and they should be seperated immediately - so far that seems to have not happened so i would say that is a good sign, and the fact they were sharing food in the bathroom was great! As for Rue getting a bit upset and nippy after being introduced to the new cage could have been for a number of reasons - could just be beacause its a new confined environment for her and all pigs so she was a bit confused - or it could be the size of the cage itself and it looks a bit cramped. A single midwest cage (or a 4x2 c&c) is the minimum size for 2 guineas so putting 3 pigs in might be a little cramped especially with the midwest having a ramp and divider and all those toys and beds covering most of the floor space. I love the c&c cages because there isnt anything blocking the way for my piggies to run the entire length of the cage when they have the zoomies! You could get another midwest cage to attach to the existing one, or you can get cheaper c&c grids on amazon if preferred - enough for a 5x2 (about 14.4 sqft, i think? And 14 grids for just the cage or more for a base+ storage space) is the minimum, but bigger is better if possible (not sure if cage requirements are different in the US but thats general for the UK) as for it being cramped, personally in my cages i have, 1 hidey house, one cosy bed, a litter box that is constantly filled with hay, enrichment toys, nugget dish and water bottles. They get a tray of veggies that gets removed to clear the space, things like snuffle mats can be removed outside of enrichment times if prefered to clear space but i can see some piggies just using it as a bed 😂. also sorry if this seems rude, i really dont mean it too, i just wanted to suggest somethings that might make the process easier! I remember how stressed i was during bonding processes! Having pets and animals means constantly learning about the animals and their care, many of us small animals owners will probably look back at our first pets and think "what was i doing? 😅" But its been a few weeks so i hope everything is well with the piggies and yourself!! 🫶

The piggies are so cute! Please make sure they have timothy or meadow hay 24/7 - about 85% of a guinea's diet should be fresh hay, and they should only get a small handful of pellets per day. I hope they have a wonderful time in each other's company! <3

I haven't been to Seattle since I was 11 years old! I'm 40 now. That's a long long time ago LOL I have 13 Guinea pigs. Bell peppers are great source of Vitamin C!
