@@theartistrylover5827 all my cameras have ef mounts. All these lenses can be found in different mounts though, especially the Vivitar. For the pentax lenses as well as the Vivitar 70-210 I have a pentax to ef. Then the Vivitar 28 it's an FD to ef adapter. But again all these lenses come in different mounts, so it's just a matter of finding the right adapter, which shouldn't be too hard as they're generally pretty affordable. Just search eBay.

@@SammyC27 if I remember correctly I used an occasional prism blur effect. This would have been shot well before this but davinci resolve has essentially this effect now.

I'll be doing more tests with the vivitar, at the time it was released it was cutting edge! They're pretty affordable on eBay now too. I don't find the tokinas too sharp personally, you can see in the hair and skin. The canon lenses are what I would consider "too sharp".

That's right. I booked Hollywood level talent for my youtube lens test. At first she wasn't sure if it'd be good for her career, but I think she really saw the creative vision and agreed to sign on.

As far as I know tiffen makes pro mist and black pro mist. Pro mist is more of a low contrast filter, whereas the black pro mist has similar effects but doesn't affect the shadows quite as much. Then there's black mist, which I think is just an entirely other brand of diffusion. Not related to tiffen. They all do similar things but there's a lot of options out there, so it partly will come down to personal preference. There isn't necessarily a correct answer for diffusion. 1/8 and 1/4 black pro mist are extremely popular if you want a more exact answer. And if you're pairing this with the GH5 I'd suggest a slightly stronger density since the smaller sensor will typically make the results less noticeable in my experience. I'd go 1/4 or even 1/2 if you really want to see it with the GH5. I was using a 2 on many of my gh5 videos lol. But there's so much out there. Hollywood black magic, soft FX, cinebloom, glimmer glass, etc, etc. find what you like.

Yeah I only film in log. I wanted to push the film look so I went pretty heavy on the grain, but youtube's compression seems to remove a fair bit of it or tone it down or something. And if you want to try dehancer there's a link in the description.

@@velkillmer Unfortunately I haven't really found a good place to upload casual work on the internet uncompressed. I have a few videos on vimeo but they're all pretty old, and I stopped uploading to there when they started charging.
