hey bro so i got a 05 tahoe stock alt. So anyways im going to do a battery delete get a jp40lithium battery. its gonna go under my seats. so I have to make a bracket or like a "fake battery" where ill connect my old upfront agm battery wiring + and -? so power wire from alt straight to rear battery. and second power wire of alt to fake battery under hood where stock + wire goes. and repeat for negative ?
Yes do the big 3 as well and also run the negative engine ground straight to rear battery and rear battery negative to chassis.

I have a PCM controller to regulate voltage. At idle it’s 15.2-15.4v

Dam bro you didn't spend the $25 for the powder coating? 😂 I love my Autotech alternator. Pain in the ass to wire up right so make sure you follow the instructions to a T. I think mine has been in use now for over a year and it still looks brand new!

@@jeromeysmith1990 Mine was supposed to be plug and play too but it dam sure wasn't. 😂 Ran 1/0 from alt to battery and the grounds and 2/0 for the amplifier.

@@donwan7181I have a video of how I did my battery delete. My power wire runs straight off my alternator to my lithium cells in the back. I have XS power LTO lithium cells which are basically yin long. With my stock 160amp alt and pcm control I sit at 14.8 with voltage drop to about 13.2 with this AutoTech alt it will be 15.2-15.4

I like it better then the skar 3500. Seems to put out cleaner power. I can play all day and subs don’t get stinky lol. Still haven’t gotten it metered yet.

@@jeromeysmith1990there is no way a full bridge is putting out "cleaner" power than a half bridge. That 3500 wired down will shit all over that taramps. I've had both and even a md8k and hands down id choose the rp3500 over both of them. Wire it down to .5 ohm and it'll really shine. The taramps isn't near as aggressive in the low 30s , ppl will argue but first hand experience with them both and almost 3 decades of installing, I trust my ears. Lots of other factors but back to the point, "cleaner" is definitely NOT any word that should be involved when describing a taramps lol.

Have u had any issues at 2k? I just put mine in yesterday wired to 1 ohm at 2400 was worried it might be to much power for it, still breaking it in
Same. I was breaking it in. It played fine. Just watch your gain if you smell the coils turn it down. I have two now on 3500

How do you compare the massive audio, ds18, and prv speakers that you ran in terms of sq and loudness
The PRV neos were the loudest and had better clarity out of all of them then I would say the DS18’s have more mid bass.

Bruh, i promise if get a pioneer head unit you will see a major difference. I had that same head unit and the don't put out right. I had the same flat eq settings and even went to a stereo shop to let them tweak it but still wasn't getting my potential out of system. Upgraded my head unit and i was shocked 👊🏾💯
Naw had a pioneer and had grounding issues with the rca outputs had to wrap them with copper wire and they distort. At like 42 but go up to 60. My JVC head unit at max volume doesn’t distort.
Smd dd1 will help with that. Throw that taramps away.

@@jeromeysmith1990 just crossover settings on some. That's all that one might be okay. Some amps got 20 x 10 or 800 x 10. Better settings
@@TheASU011 That’s true but my head unit has a crossover from 50 to 250hz for mids (rear channel) and Front channel goes from 1.5k to 5k for tweeters it also has time alignment. I set amp to full range and just use the crossovers on the head unit

I had this same setup evl 18 6cuf 25 hz it was tuned a bit 2 low 30 hz is probably ideal I loved that set up enjoy!!!
