You said that it would be given 5 points in overseas restaurants as well, but the terms and conditions say it is within Canada, so I would like to know exactly if it is possible to get it overseas as well.

I hold the Amex Platinum card - I’m still confused why the Cobalt card is so loved on UA-cam - high relative cost, no lounge passes, mediocre travel insurance coverage. You can do much better with current Visa and MC offers
I believe Scotia Amex Card gives a run for Amex Cobalt Card in Groceries, Gas, Streaming and Transit with slightly better insurance coverage.. Surprised that it's best only in one category.
The difference is that you can use Amex Points and transfer to Aeroplan, Flying Blue and much others. On one flight I got 13 cents per point on a business flight.
