The rhythm of the song it’s particular
Was in bits when they played this, so glad I got to witness it though
Lovely tribute…so sad ❤
First view, first like
I went to the Paul concert on the 15th in Manchester ( day after, same venue). I guess I'll stop going to gigs now... There's no point.
Oh my, what an experience. Sir Paul McCartney. Yeah, I’ve just been in the same room as the man who wrote "Sgt Pepper", "Hey Jude", "Live and Let Die" and a trillion other masterpieces. And a man who, with his three scouse mates, changed our dull-grey post-WW2 world into full-stereo 24-carat technicolour. Honestly, that was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. But EVERYBODY felt it. In a two-hour plus set of gems, viewed by every age going I'm pleased to say (6 to 96 year olds) the magnificent "Live and Let Die" was accompanied by a stunning display of electro-visuals, fireworks, fire, smoke and laser lights. And the complexity of the stage show was truly impressive. But when he broke into "Something", played on nothing more than a simple ukelele, which George Harrison apparently gave him, I was transported, and gently reminded that it was the Beatles' 'third-best songwriter' that (arguably) wrote the best-ever Beatle song. (It's true ... that old saying ... it really is "ALL about the song"). And even with his now-creaking vocal chords, his deeply personal 'love song' to John was incredibly moving. So was the technically-challenging "I've Got A Feeling", featuring Lennon joining him in a duet from that 1969 Apple-rooftop concert. He then went up to the piano at the back of the stage, and followed these generous salutes to his friends with his very own magnum opus, the majestic hymn, "Let It Be". I don't mind admitting I had tears welling up. Just to BE there. He also told us of a text he'd received, earlier that day, from a black lady who remembered seeing the Beatles in Jacksonville, Florida back in 1965. At that concert, the promoters apparently still had segregated seats; black to one side, whites the other. McCartney said that all four of them had refused to play unless and until the segregated seats were scrapped. The promoters finally gave way and this particular lady reminded McCartney, nearly 60 years later, that it was the first time she had ever been seated with white people, and yet the whole audience that night were united in their collective love ... of Beatle music. Yeah, a timely reminder of the eternal need for music to help us transcend human stupidity. And a timely reminder that Florida is now a Trump power base too. (The work of defeating crass ignorance, mind-numbing stupidity, as well as outright racism is never truly over is it?) Ach ... John, George, Ringo ... and Paul. We will NEVER see their likes again. The Beatles were, and will forever remain, the world's greatest romance. All of us who have lived in their era have been BLESSED. After a raputurous encore, Macca finished the concert off with "thanks Manchester, see you next time". Quite. May there be plenty more 'next times'. Thanks Sir Paul … we ALL owe you
I was there in Dublin staying at the Crown Plaza hotel on the night they played. I sat on my balcony & heard the whole concert BRILLANT. SO proud to be an Aussie.
I saw ACDC when they were the support act for BLACK SABBETH . AT the Hordon pavilion.
Best, tightest band I've ever seen!!
It was an absolute banger of a gig, unfortunately we missed testament but caught kreator,it's the most pyro at the Apollo I have seen from any band.
I was the same. It took me longer than anticipated to ye there so missed Testament. I agree on the pyro: I was about half way down the room from the stage and I could feel the heat from the flames there! It was an incredible concert. 👌🤘👍
Me Too, Peace \m/
I was here!!!!!! Awesome show
I was there as well!
They still bring it every night!!!!
I saw them steal Motorheads show here a few years ago🤘🤘
Plateia morta
I saw them a few days ago in Wiesbaden. So happy I could go. It was amazing.
The most cure song ever not performed by the cure!
It was a fantastic night! Thanks for posting :)
It was an amazing night! Thanks for uploading :)

thank you for sharing xx
Epic
Whorehouse Blues @0:00 Ace of Spades @4:00 I filmed this 13 years ago on a Galaxy S2 which didn't have a great audio chip so the sound distorts (particularly during Ace of Spades). However, I thought I'd still put this out there as it is a cool glimpse into the past. I have been to a couple of hundred concerts or so. This is still by far the loudest concert. I remember wearing earplugs and it was still deafening. The sound was incredible.
Grettings from Poland🔥🔥🔥🙂
Brilliant
I was there, fab night
@@watermelonineasterhay yes even the small drizzle around 10pm didn't affect the fab atmosphere 😍
Cheers for posting this. Sounding pretty good.
Phil, you are one talented man, and although you’re playing a piano now, you are a killer drummer. So crisp. AMAZING!
Brutallllll...até arrepia!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Wow, this is great. Add a brush drummer and it would be really excellent.
🤘
The only redeeming feature of this band? The backing singers. Not the greatest choice of support band IMO
It's was definitely an eclectic bunch of support bands. I did like The Meffs though: I missed out on seeing them support NOFX in Brixton earlier in the year so it was good to catch them here... particularly their cover of Breathe by the Prodigy!
Lol
got all songs recorded ?
Thanks for the comment. I recorded 6 songs. Here's the link to the playlist: ua-cam.com/video/zYRIt3cx-Lo/v-deo.html
Great outfit for the stage. You have good stage presence too. Keep performing on stage. Like public speaking and sex, you get better, the more you do it. Lol
Ouff what a good recording of an excellent performing artist here! Here the drums were a fair part of the sound, not too dominating, Mary's song deserved this. Awesome!
Thanks @4orty8ight 👌 i was inline with Mary on a red stool next to you She said she sold out Bush Hall in London 🎸🎤🔥🔥🔥
Thanks dude i was there too in the middle inline with Mary on a red square stool THANKS for the memories' 😍🎸🎤🎶🔥🔥🔥
I dig it!! Sounds like music from another time, in the best possible way.
Beautiful. Keep up the great work Mary.
Sorry, to me it's elevator music 🤷
A couple of back up singers would made all the difference. Hard to be led guitar and vocal
I’d be riding that elevator up and down and not getting out!
Doesn't sound like any elevator I've ever been in! I too would ride that elevator up & down all day to keep hearing her beautiful music!

Was at the Cavern Club to see Mary Spender on our first night in Liverpool (from Vancouver, BC) and loved it all.
Was nice to have a chat with you, Mark 🙂
Was at the front 😛 not to flex
Not keen
Caught up with Mary and the band last weekend in Bham .
Enjoyed this a lot ! Mary, you smiled and the room lit up. ❤
Needs something , maybe a raging guitar solo
To be fair, everything is better with a raging guitar solo... including another raging guitar solo. 😅
Didn’t know she played live. Nice
Yea she busked in cities around the UK then USA with Adam Neely that's how i found her dulcette beautiful tones and playing...
@1:05 Talk @2:12 Song Starts
