This, again, is an updated version of an earlier lecture. The College Board required works list has some serious gaps for this period, which I've tried to fill.

It is pure postmodern myth that Africa was some kind of "cradle" of civilization. The second Cain, through the Biblical Hamm is the father, origin of the Black race. Postmodernism is historic only for its deceit.
Thank you,😊
6:44 Wrong. There is tons of emotion there, just displayed appropriately for a formal occasion, imperceptible to the modern eye accustomed with histrionic clownery. She is proud of her husband (or son) and affectionate, supporting and caring for him. He is a ruler, therefore immovable in his attitude and behaviour according to Maat. The leg forward maybe indicated that they are alive.
Is there a place where we can download the ppt you used for this presentation? Thanks
Hello, what were the videos you included on the slides? I tried looking them up, but it says they're not available anymore.
Why are there no other comments?
where can I find your podcast? Im taking ap art history now, and I think it would be helpful to listen when I have free time.
It will take a while for it to sink in & be understood, but I still found it interesting, I'm closer than I was before

13:03 you speak of childrens skulls being found at the four corners of Teotihuacan . The children were the seed of the previous power structure. To have a fruitful kingdom you must pull out all and threats root and stem , their blood waters the four cardinal directions providing a living water for the next power structure to flow on. Their bones are an acceptable tribute to Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent God that represents knowledge.
Thank you
you get around lol

There was no Hinduism. Hinduism was created very recent under Islamic rule which appropriated vajriyani Buddhism that's why there are some similarities.
These are fairy tales , not history. There was no caste system. Can be classified as garbage.
There were no Brahmins in Buddha's times . Instead spreading propaganda lies , kindly correct . Phrase baman saman was an ascetic lifestyle , There were 62 different ascetic groups at thst time. There were no Brahmins or brahmin religion. You can't even write brahmin in Pali Prakrit in Dhamma script.
You're cheeky comments made this a fun listen. No pun intended. 😆

84. a pleasant feeling after watching this content and makes me excited to be imaginative in creating the next content for my channel 😍😍❤❤ feel free to connect with my art too. Thank you my friend.
Hi, I am a graduate student currently working on an MFA and I was wondering if you would be open to sharing some of your source material (doesn't have to be citable). I am trying to piece together some context for my cohort on my own work which incorporates a lot of Hindu imagery. I appreciate your accuracy and the importance that you place on philosophy relative to art forms, a rare perspective in Western education. Your students are very lucky!
as an art university student. thank you for this video.
Observing great art and listening to art lectures gives me great joy. It seems to give greater purpose to my life.
There seems to be a theme of the college board assiduously choosing all the most important works from the required works and making sure that those best works are no longer required and students no longer spend much time on the best paintings... 🤷🏼♀
Great lecture but that cough was a super awkward moment
Wonderful as always, but perhaps you could remember to drop specific names for your general UA-cam audience. Who did 'every picture tells a story?'
Whats the context in terms of local populations and number of painters artists churning out art pieces commissions. Were there self-taught commoners producing art too or basically vasari mentioned extensibility almost all painters or only notable well-known peeps? Thanks Prof
I'm thrilled that you're putting these on youtube. I'm a big fan. Only a matter of time before Mrs McConnell's merchandise becomes available! 😉
Wonderful thanks so much. Ive enjoyed many of your lectures. Thanks also for telling us about the website where we can read more about the fascinating Greek myths.
Honest, I subscribed but never watch. THIS got my attention , nice well done. Exciting
