As a very active sport-shooter i try to share sometimes little things and sometimes big issues.
shooting sports
maintenance
disassemble and assemble
reloading ammo
tips and tricks
air pistol
firearms
small caliber
large caliber
tuning
revolvers
pistol
I started shooting around 1977 with airpistols and soon with small caliber (.22) up to .45 and everything in between.
Mostly revolver .22 & .357magnum (Smith & Wesson 586 and Smith & Wesson 617)
I have experience with maintenance, tuning and testing, some reloading...
But mainly shooting on the range.
I'm Dutch and there are quite a few matters around firearms regulated by law.
Dutch is my basic language, feel free to laugh about my "English", so do I...
I work as a photographer (see links to my other social media channels, press the subscribe button immediately), safety advisor and also as a teacher and examiner

In this video I will show how to replace the firing pin. The HammerliX-esse Pro Sport is a great gun to shoot. Easy to clean and accurate to shoot as well. I had a lot of misfires, between 20 -60%. Testing a lot of different ammo, the Magtech, CCI standard, CCI Minimag, Federal, Match ammo Geco etc., standard velocity, high velocity, extreme velocity, made no difference. So I have been cleaning...

012 disassemble, cleaning and assemble the Hammerli X-esse Pro Sport magazine
In this video I want to clearly show how the Hammerli X-esse magazine is dismantled, cleaned and assembled. It's a common "mistake", people often clean the gun and forget about the magazine(s). Very unfortunate, many errors in the weapon are caused by incorrect feeding from the magazine. And it's not that much work to keep the magazine clean. Many small caliber bullets have a thin layer of wax ...

Thanks for sharing 👍
You're welcome.
Epic facial hair haha
I would recommend you turn the M92 up side down in the cleaning stand so that any debris and dirty patches will fall out of the ejection port onto table and not get down into the action. What caliber 38-40 ? Great video👍❤DJ
Thanks. It’s the cleaningroom at the range, not possible to use a clamp while the rifle is up-side-down.
@@SmitShootingSports 👍
Great video, I like the conversation between the both of you😊
Die slagpen was behoorlijk af geplat.
@@Wimvanhal yep, moest vervangen worden!
this vid was very timely as I had failure to feeds continuing to happen with my magazines and needed to know how to clean them of wax and dirt. thanks for showing how to disassemble the mags. I was stumped by that.

Im thinking of buying this as my first gun, but my hands are pretty damn big.. kinda worried they wont fit in the stock grip.. what do you think, is it adjustable enough?
@@Ha1var there are different sizes. I have the biggest as my hands are also “pretty big”. I have gloves size 15 and the pistol fits, very tight but it fits. I will make my own grips in the (near) future.
Great video guys🤗
@@SaskiaFluidArtForAll thanks!
Nice video Rob! Just one question: what are some of the things you are looking for when inspecting a bullet with a loop after crimping?
Hi, thanks. Just checking is the crimp is enough to hold the bullet in it’s place, not to hard as well and checking if the edge has not been damaged.
Mjom mjom ❤
Also, it shouldn't fire if the slide is pushed back a little;
I have one, very easy to field strip and clean..
Similar in some ways to a S&W model 41
In some ways all pistols work the same, same with cleaning. I like the S&W 41, it's a very accurate pistol, also easy to clean.
@@SmitShootingSports The big thing with the 208 and the 41 is they have an excellent trigger. For a target pistol the trigger is the most important thing.
@@DrCarl88 That is correct. It both are brilliant pistols to shoot with. I think the triggers are the best/ most important part to shoot accurate. Well, also the way it's build off course. My wife shoots with the 208 and she just loves it. Some other pistols I know are good looking, great trigger but shoot like a piece of... ... old metal...
@@SmitShootingSports The 208 is the holy grail amongst the NRA bullseye shooters. These pistols are very sought after and bring 2 grand easy for a good example. The Model 41 is very similar to the 208 and also an excellent target. The older ones are the best.
@@DrCarl88 as far as we know this 208 is manufactured around ‘67 and still working great!

Did you know... Its very important... -That your gun is unloaded- Before you start tampering with it 😂
You are absolutely correct. This is a short from the whole video. Please check the whole video and see that I did check the gun before the disassembling…
Im shure you know your safety. That was just my brain lol
You didn’t even double check the chamber before you pointed it at your own face and then hand 😢
He clearly did, the handgun was locked back. Then he slides the upper forward to unlock it.
Thanks, please check the whole video (as this is just a part/ short) and see I did check the gun before the disassembly.

Any malfunction at the range while shooting ? How it is worth to buy? How many rounds you shot?
I bought it around oktober 2023. Think I have shot around 1200 rounds. 1 error, the shell was stuck and not thrown out. Easy to solve as I just pulled the sled back and it was solved. It is very cheap to buy, the one I have was around 595 euro, the startprice is around 495 euro (new) depending the model, color etc. The cheapest 1911 in 9mm I could find. Just wanted one to use at the Militairy Pistol discipline. It shoots pretty accurate (around 2-3" / 5-9cm at 25mtr with a support) Did some minor polishwork on the inside, still working on the video to show the things I did on the 1911, coming up soon!
Big thanks for reply, much appreciated.
Mooi pistool.
Photography ?
Yes, as I was trying to use this photo in a video when I noticed a lot of dust, hairs and other things on this photo. So I had to release the Adobe brush to clean it up…

Hi I meant the quality of the weapon!! Are the ones from 2024 of better quality? How many thousand shots did this weapon withstand? Is this gun an accurate weapon?? Is the trigger good?? Regards Arthur Poland
@@arturk2021 I just bought this 1911 a few months ago. I can’t compare with early 1911’s as I don’t have them. The quality makes me happy. The trigger had from the factory around 2400 grams to release. I did some “tuning” on the trigger and it’s at this point around the 1700 grams to release. Later I will make a video of the parts i “tuned” to get a better trigger. It’s pretty accurate, the group is around 5cm at 10mtr. with 10 bullets. At 25mtr the group is around 12cm. This is the group when I shoot with a support. I am happy with this 1911, shot around 850 bullets since I have it.
Barell Wilson Combat add good idea ?? Magazines Wilson Combat add good idea ?? How many shots will the Norinco barrel withstand ??
