Scratch building Nav lights on the Academy 1/72 F-14A Tomcat
Переглядів 6093 роки тому
How to make Nav lights out of plastic or resin.
Please, revive your channel. This is the best build of an airliner I’ve seen on UA-cam.
Don't worry, new content will follow, but it takes time! Thanks for the compliment!
Amazing build! Why no more videos?
This is one of the best builds i've ever seen your precision encourages me to Master my skills to your level. Good luck in future modeling and I hope you won't leave your YT
thank you and glad you like it!
Now I don't want to build my planes any more because compared to yours, mine are horrible lol
a sincere suggestion for you. I use UV light to cure the resin within 20 seconds. And you may try applying a PET sheet tightly to fuselage. That is what I am doing
Time is not a factor in any of my builds, so i will stick to the resin method.
Hello, nice build. The windows resin won't stick to the window s frames if you just don't use liquid mask and just paint the white outside? Thanks for the video
yes, they will, but i used the masking liquid to avoid paint dissolvation by the resin
mein respekt sehr detailiert
danke sehr!
As an ex 757 pilot, you have made a miniature replica. It's absolutely brilliant.
thank you! glad you like it
hello again! what kind/brand of electrical tape did you use? thanks
none, i got it from ebay. nothing special
A perfect built 👏👍
thank you!
Is this model available for purchase?
no, sorry. it was 9 months of work, so i cant take the price it is worth.
@@airlinermodelspro1445 But do you have any other models you may want to sell???
As a former B757 pilot I have to say your model is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail. WOW!
thank you very much! 757-4evr
Great Work 😁
there is by the way an IL62 IF in the assembly line ;-)
This has to be one of the best airliner builds on UA-cam.
thank you so much for that kind comment!
Awesome work!!🤯 The level of detail what you gave is amazing. I hope see another projet soon. Regards😁
it will happen, nut not very soon. Next year most likely... thanks for your kind comment!
What is the name of this sticker printer??
its actually a bad kyocera laser printer, not recommended :)
Amazing video, keep it up!
Amazing work learned a lot of stuff from your build 😃
Magnifique modèle et superbes videos! Vivement les prochaines!!!!
Excellent work. The music in the vid is so loud. The time lapse is so fast cannot really see what you are doing… just suggestions
yes, i admit it is not the best, i just wanted to finish it and thats why i didnt care too much about these things. also you are right about the time lapse thing, i am simply not a video guy :D
@@airlinermodelspro1445 yes but I’m sure with time and time experience the method will get better, we all have to start somewhere- just trying to offer some feedback. I only mention the things that I felt you might want to take a look at for future vids. I don’t want to give the impression that it all sucked lol! It actually was very useful for the most part
@@Armourworkshop no no, its cool. i am happy for useful critiques. i only don't know if or when i m gonna do new videos. TBH it was a bit exhausting and the popularity of it is very limited.
@@airlinermodelspro1445 hmm that’s disappointing because on the whole I really enjoyed- I rate it highly- better than many others out there. I hope you do try another!
👍👍👍
Wow! It's looks very good! Great job!
thank you!
Perfect job, you got me inspired to remake a 57 I’have standing by very dip in the closet.
It's... ... Nothing to say sir actually nothing to... Say. It's Beauty, It's Realism that's top quality of 1/144 aircraft modelling right? We've watched this long long project and all that time, definetly worth it! If you make another video about this project Netflix can buy and make it a documentary series :D jokes aside I love it! You're a master 😄👌
thank you so much for your kind comment
Это круто!!!!!!!!!
Спасибо :)
Fantastic, very nice and beautiful 🤩
thank you!
Stunning as usual
Like a sausage
Thats a real masterpiece its just incredible. So much details a perfect solutions for hard problems… Respect👍
thanks max. indeed some weird problems, allthough i have to say, most modellers i know neglect them. So if you don't see a problem, you dont need a solution :)
I really enjoyed watching this build series. Phantastic detailwork and beautiful painting and great subtle weathering! Great idea to use brush hair for the antistatic discharger. This adds another level of detail to the model. Which glue did you use to glue them in place? Just in case ... Authentic Airliner Decals do some nice Vortex Generator 3D-Decals for B757 and other airliner in 1/144. Keep up the good work and I'm really looking forward your next build.
i used superglue gel for the dischargers. I actually have the AA vortex generators, but bought them after i i finished the wings :) thx for you kind comments.
The very,very very great job,and wonderful plane.👋👋👋
I have to say this, I'm qualified on the 757-200. You nailed every detail on this build. Absolutely Amazing. Well done. Just Stunning.
haha thanks! as an engineer?
@@airlinermodelspro1445 Yes Sir.
@@davidroberts2777 awesome!
Great job excellent 👍
Your models are awesome. Lots of work to obtain that nice finish. 😍
The 752 has the nicest lines of any airliners. I’ll have to get this kit
Nice work. Do you thin your paints or do they come ready for airbrush?
MRP is airbrush ready
Здорово!!
I love the Zvezda.
Very good!!!
Nice work :)
Why was it painted around the cockpit if there is a decal. Hello from Russia
Better accuracy i guess. Im currently building the 737 max and they didn't fit at all😐
exactly, as mauzer said. I could make sure it is accurate and exactly like a B757, also i didnt want to polish it.
Nice job 👍👍👍👍
As always a wonderful video, with many helpful tips and tricks. Can't wait for the final one :)
thank you, appreciate your opinion! :)
Excellent job wow 👍 from México 👍
Very nice!!! When will be part 6?
in a few days! 🙂
It’s not a rubber ring at the fan, it’s a composite compound similar to automotive body filler. When a new engine is assembled the manufacturer runs the engine to let the fan cut its own accurate path into the compound thus ensuring the minimum gap between fan and fan track. Also, the nose cone is made of a composite material, but has a metal cuff at the fan leading edge. 👍🏼
whatever it is, i touched it on a A320 multiple times and it feels like rubber.
So perfect, worth all the work. On the insides i almost did the same technique when i cut out the front of a Minicraft 757 engine after glueing it together to get a proper seemless Ring which the Minicraft model does not have. But after all the glueing i had to sand so much that the details were lost. I had no scriber like you but it was still okay. The Zvezda 757 is definately a good model of my fav Jet. I have 2 1:72 Model Kits i have to finish first and after that i really need to build a good old Fashioned Retro Condor 757 from the 90s. Does this Kit come with PW Engines and No Winglets alternative inside?
yes PW is included and as you can see on my EL AL also normal wingtips are included - quite some options, allthough the PW fandisk is not accurate. BTW i plan to build the same...
@@airlinermodelspro1445 finally a good 757 Kit <3
@@Ted-Striker true, but it is far from perfect. quite a lot of small errors i had to correct.
Wow!! great technique for the windows! i´m just building a 1/144 B747-400 from Revell and it doesn´t have any clear windows, only the holes. I would´ve love to have known this!! now it´s too late as i have already glued the fuselage. Anyways, i´ll use this for sure next time! And also i´m glad to see some quality airliner modelling because 99% of the content is military stuff, which is also pretty awesome, don´t get me wrong, but civil aviation is my thing. Thanks for all the tips AMP144!!
i m happy you like it. and true, most of the videos are military - where i learned a lot. sadly airliners are not so popular.
Lovely video, I hope you’ll do more. Military subjects so dominate the field but civilian airliners are so great, and so hard given their relative niche-iness.
Thank you for your kind words. At the moment i will finish this WIP with another 2-3 videos. Most likely i won't do any more there after, since it is a huge amount of work.
Amazing work. I love watching and learning your techniques! Thank you and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
glad, you like it! next videos will follow soon...
