Im a controller here. My favorite morning or lunch spot is White Spot Cafe its a hole in the wall but great if your in Anchorage with time during the day. 49th state is great though. Also, the crab stuffed halibut at Simon &Seaforts

Love this overview - I lived in Alaska for 20 years and did the milk run route variations more times than I could count. Gotta love the nice conditions but it could be a very rough day up and down
