It's a pretty hard campaign; great job !

The morale mechanic is quite extensive; you get -1 if you mix units from 3 different factions on one hero, -2 for 4, -3 for 5. Having Necro units mixed in with any other faction is automatically -1. But having an Angel in your army is +1. And the Morale skill and/or artifacts can help too. Those are all 'persistent' modifiers (i.e. not just the next fight, but always).

Wolf Riders Luck is like the Ghost Luck ('the immunity'); if they're with you it's like 25%, but if it's against you, it seems like 75% ... Also, 'wood' is just fine, everyone calls it that :)

I just watched this at the end, with the crystal dragon mission. It can be done without a single troop lost. I am watching a new player (who ofc is new, thus bad at the game, but accepts advice) who did it this way. She chose earth book as starting bonus, although you can pick titans and restart the map until your town gives you slow and resurrection. Then you avoid taking up new skills until your earth magic becomes expert level. And I told her to make use of expert slow and use 1 separated enchanter as bait for enemies. That way the enemy can never reach you , they are stuck in a loop of chasing your 1 unit, while you shoot them down with the rest of your enchanters. And during fights where deaths are unavoidable , you just resurrect them back. And yes you are correct, viewers who don't know the game won't understand anything. It's possible to play this game for 20+ years and still be bad at it. I was, until I learned a lot of tricks from heroes 3 PvP. So yes, that streamer who didn't lose a unit in this mission is still very bad. Finished RoE campaigns 2 years ago, but only learned that the damage is shown in the bottom bar yesterday lol. And chat told to look at damage and enemy health, then use a separate calculator. But there's still a lot of defending, wait or skipping turns at the wrong moment, leading to poor combat results. Doesn't know about retaliation taking although I tried to explain it multiple times, but it's hard without visual learning

Hi. I like watching "first time playing" type of videos. I know you aren't new, but I love this series too. Surprised that you never tried anything aside heroes 3 but the general opinion is this was the peak of the series, and because of community work, this game, now, in 2024, is more alive online than it ever was. Thousands of people playing it daily on the community backed online lobby of the "horn of the abyss" expansion. Somebody mentioned "heroes of might and magic: armored princess" so figured I offer an explanation. That's not might and magic, that's King's Bounty: Armored princes, and it's the 4th KB game. New World Computing created might and magic, the rpg first person dungeon crawler in the 80s, and heroes in the 90s. Their first strategy game however was Kings bounty in 1990. This game didn't do well in the States, so NWComputing abandoned the game. But the game was so popular in Europe and especially Russia, that russian fans created unofficial KB2 in 1992. In 1995, NWC made heroes1, and the rest is history. Later, in 2007, a russian team made a reboot of kings bounty, called kings bounty: the legend, so basically kb3, and armoured princess after, the 4th game. KB is one of the best heroes-like games (or call em heroes clones). But to be fair each heroes clone out there is actually a pretty good game. They are: Disciples series, kings bounty, and more recent ones (2020-2024) are Silence of the siren, and Songs of conquest. Each of them differ from heroes in various ways, but the principle is the same. Build town, fight with army. Kings bounty is the only one where you don't build, and it's more like an RPG, but combat is the exact same.

And I was waiting for the credits to roll watching my body float around "Waiting for the credits, that's the end". Have you finished the story yet?

This game... man as much as I love it I sometomes hate it for being buggy and clunky! I SPENT AGES IN THAT FUCKING CELLAR!!! I COULD NOT GO UP TO THOSE MUSHROOMS! It was always blocked, no way, no nothing although I suspected ther to be something... fuuuuuck I hate buggy shit like that.

Its funny cause Glados IS letting you go, but the turrets just wanted to say Bye before you left, they did get target practice from you
