Turning my Yamaha into a Glamaha + My motorcycle journey @glamaha.moto on IG & Tik tok
I hosted an ALL Ladies track day and reveal my Project R3 | Sydney West Riders Track Days
For a while I've wanted to host an all ladies track day. As someone who started my track journey at an all ladies day in 2020, and have countless messages from girl's who want to try track but are too afraid. Over the past few years, I have been able to partake in multiple schools and coaching, combined with hosting the girls rides I knew I was able to create an environment that would encourage girl's to get into the sport and feel empowered to continue on their own. Why? Once upon a time, someone took that initiative for me - and it's changed my life and I want to return the favour.

The AlpineStars Tech Air 7 IN ACTION | Helping ladies get track ready at Bikebiz
Переглядів 681Місяць тому
I hosted a ladies track day on October 12, and in the lead up wanted to make sure the girls were track ready. Bikebiz and I have collaborated on videos before, but this time threw a small event to help girls understand the maintenance checks required before the track and the additional gear required. Dan from Monza Imports put on a live demonstration on how the Alpinestars Tech Air 7 works and ...

@Motozippy and I are back with our Sydney Girl's rides! This vlog is sneak peak into what they're like Though this rider was a relatively calm one (it's mid Winter in Sydney), I hope it inspires some girls to get out of their comfort zone and join us to make new friendships. Shout out to Sydney West Riders for helping us coordinate and get the girls there safely! Until the next one Balaclava an...
What does it take to Race? A Behind the Scenes VLOG of the 2024 Philip Island ASBK and WSBK weekend
Переглядів 4805 місяців тому
I went on a trip to Phillip island to support my friend Haych who raced in her first ASBK Supersport 300. This weekend happened to fall on the same weekend as the World Super Bikes and my Pit Crew pass meant I could walk to all areas and see what goes on behind the scenes. I had some pretty cool experiences, from seeing up close what is required to race at a national level, doing a deep dive in...
I didn't expect this would be the outcome when comparing the R7 and MT-07 LAMS to the R7-HO
Переглядів 8435 місяців тому
Reviews were never something I really planned to do but as an owner of the R7-HO, I never understood why the R7 got so much backlash compared to the MT-07 until I got to ride them both. If you're a new rider who is deciding between the two, here is another perspective of what they both feel like, where they do well and where they lack. This video is most helpful for those who may be newer to ri...
This Bike was so comfortable I nearly dropped my R7 | Triumph Speed 400
Переглядів 6 тис.9 місяців тому
So I got to try out the new Triumph Speed 400, one of the newest Learner Approved Motorcycles (LAMs) to hit the market. New rider's always ask me what bike I would recommend, and I say it always depends on what you like, however bikes that are lighter and easier to manoeuvre, make practicing skills less daunting - and the more you practice something the better you'll get at it. BUT new rider's ...

After the crazy turn out on our first event, we brought back the girls only social ride, but this time Zuhal (Motozippy) and I went for a Galentine's theme ahead of Valentine's day. Despite my best efforts to vlog and capture the moments the event still didn't quite go as planned. Our goal here was to set the standard and show the girl's that they deserve more than the bare minimum. These event...
They tried to ruin our first Girl's Only Social Ride!!! A Disjointed Vog
Переглядів 17 тис.9 місяців тому
We (Zuhal or Motozippy on IG) and I hosted our first ever girl's only social ride and it didn't quite go as planned. Nevertheless we will definitely be hosting more around Sydney throughout the year, because creating safe spaces where girl's support other girl's and uplift one another, without competing or comparison is so important. For more check out my socials, including details about the ne...

How much Horsepower and Torque does an R7 Make?
Dafuq is this dude doing telling these people about air in brake lines??? They're there to learn track riding not maintenance. These women have been done wrong. They should be being introduced to things like trail braking, throttle control, gear selection and properly latching on to the bike with the legs and feet. Absolute shame since the event was organized so well. I hope that this happens again and again but with actual instructors in the future.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback - I did cut some bits out as I didn’t find them interesting to watch, but I think looking back the context was needed in this video. Responding in detail as some viewers may also share the same views: We ran optional sessions for the girls to get a better understanding of how their bikes work and things to look out for so they can keep themselves safe (so they don’t get caught out if they were to book a future track day). If something was wrong, they’d at least have an idea of what it could be so can ask the right questions to a professional. The air in brake lines was an example of something that happened to me; a new bike (one year old) - I went out for a session and had run off because my bike didn’t brake as hard as it used to in that corner, when it first happened I didn’t understand what was going on and wrongly attributed it to me being more afraid so just kept riding slower until I learnt how to diagnose the problem. A lot of these girls may not have access to the resources where they can ask someone qualified without the fear of being charged for service, feeling like it’s a dumb question or simply be told “don’t worry about it”. In my own personal experiences, I’ve had many girls come up to me and I was shocked by the state of their bike that their *friend* “serviced” or “checked” for them… so really I just wanted to create that safe space for them to ask the questions and get the facts! Some girls have found it useful to get detail of how things work before diving into that - but everyone is different. The day was not a coaching or school day however we did have qualified coaches who mentored the girls and followed them on the track. The first timer groups were briefed and introduced to those key concepts (many of what you mentioned) which I shortened in the video. I didn’t capture any of the feedback or one on one mentor sessions as I didn’t want the girls to feel pressured in front of the camera. Also everyone’s journey is different so I wasn’t comfortable sharing publicly where each person was at! Appreciate the feedback though, but hopefully that gives some clarity. I will definitely work on my video structure going forward though 😅
What a pretty bike and a great event.
track walk? they aint GPs lol point on al this out in the office preffing on the map and numbers lol
Hey! It’s a privately owned track and quite small so walking it doesn’t take a lot of time. The track walk (optional) was something that was introduced many many years ago, which a lot of riders have felt helpful in the past so they keep doing it :).
バイク日本製ありがとう
Watching this made me think how i want that to me someday i love how girls support each other with this hobby its great :)
YESSSS!! Forever a girl’s girl
Decent watch amazing content 🎉🎉🎉
Appreciate it!!
@glamaha-moto keep it coming
Sis, you are doing AWESOME.! Keep Up the Good Work.! 😺🏍 I wish we had a Rider and Organizer like you in my City. 🍁
AHHH thank you!!! Maybe I’ll see vids of the rides you host? 😉
I am not like you Christine, I am shy and do not host any Rides. You must be going into your Summer Riding Season eh? Here in Canada we are going into Winter very soon. I just parked my Bikes for the next 5 to 6 months 😿 This is why I need you to keep making great MotoContent for all us Canadian Riders to watch until April or May. 👼
This is such a great preview into what was clearly an incredible day! Such a well thought out and executed track day to not only engage but also educate everyone that came! So sad I wasn't there!! Keep doing the amazing things you do 🫶🏻💜💪🏼
Next time!! Can’t wait to ride with you again one day 🫶
Looks like an amazing event! Thanks for sharing the video
Thanks for watching!
I really really wish these airbags worked better than they did on the back end. Seeing the Rep himself struggle to get his own demo to work correctly is only a light into the underlying issue of how bad the app and support for the app and connectivity are .Just one of hundreds of examples of how bad the A*'s App is(and unfortunately is continuing to be.) and trying to get it to connect/sync with the jacket as well as updating. Like i said, i really wish and want the A*'s connectivity to be better than it is but they all are straight trash with reliability when it comes to the tech side of it. The jackets are great and state of the art and I have no issue with them. I've been in a Tech Air 5 Since release date and I have had maybe 2 times where the jacket stayed synced with the app for more than 15 minutes.
damn that's a diff perspective! low key think because the vest was way too big for Zippy that it just didn't detect properly. It was the first time they had tried to do a real-time deployment in Sydney though, and he got it immediately on one of the staff - hopefully A* works on it !!
@@glamaha-moto Yeah, I really hope that side of things continues to improve. I know myself amongst many others I personally track with as well as all the stories on the internet, guys have been extremely frustrated with just getting the jacket to go into track mode. I love the physical product and really want to use the tech vest they have.
Hey we’re can I get individual farings for the 60 go I have one and need them Pretty please respond
Nothing more sexy then a woman that rides and works on her bike

This looks so awesome! I love your videos <3 I've just started riding and I'm Sydney based as well. I'd love to join you girls. I unfortunately don't have social media. How do I get in touch with you guys to get involved in these events?!
Hey gf!! Congratulations and welcome to the community! Unfortunately we do all our posts on social media there’s no website or mailing list :(. I post them on my page usually a week prior to the ride!

Yay!! Such a cool experience and great video! So cool to have a quick cameo too! 😍🙌🏻
And the other difference being aesthetics. I'm not a sports bike guy, but that R7 with the sliders and the decals looks pretty tough. It definitely has the walk away factor. Thanks for the content.
** Correction: The MT-07 has right side up forks, which aren't adjustable like the R7. I made a typo and said they were upside down forks which is incorrect!
bravo, keep going.
how tall are you guys????
163 cm
great video keep it up
We should ban women from our mens ride
Like your hair eyes video's channel motor an love you ❤❤❤❤❤
Keep going, I enjoy the content
April 9 🇵🇷😳👍♥️ nice thank you shout out imkay
i dont see why men cant ride with you,why you making it a gender thing, and before you "womansplain", your bikers,i dont think any meet up has excluded female riders.....could you imagine if men freaked out if a girl turns up to a meet and tell her she cant join??????the first thing out of anyones mouth would be "ahh your just misogynist's".
There are plenty of rides where all are welcome. Sometimes girls just feel more comfortable being around girls. It’s a great way to make it easier for girls to find other girls to ride with on their own time. Most of the time group rides are majority men. I went to one the other night with 50+ riders and they were only 3 girls.
Naked bikes are the style now 😉 get w the times 😂
Looks like a fun ride! Awesome bikes

Awesome.
How tall are you?
44 bike ladies!? That’s a lot sHeEsH 🙄 I’m surprised, residential areas. You have to be so quiet out here in California. You can make noise until 10 PM before cops are called.
I love the energy, I wish I would’ve stopped by 😂 all of you seem like you know how to have a really good time. Love Aussie girls.
Love your content, don't stop❤❤❤❤
I’d say it’s a successful video - two very different types bikes, I’m sure you’ll work on the low speed stuff on your bike and send a snippet of you flowing through the course. I’m seriously considering the 400, it’ll be an upgrade from my GW250 and my first week will be super low speed drills (mostly 🤔). Thanks for sharing!
❤
This looks amazingg! I see that you're using a satin and matte finish is it neccesary to use both? i would like to paint my neon yellow accents on my suit a pink color but im not sure what finish would look best which do you recommend?
Just from the looks of it, the gold appears to be satin & blue is matte. Hope this helps!
the lady in the blue hijab seems so dope. Wish there were more hijabi riding in Toronto, CA
Why can't you all just ride and not worry about who said what. Guys just go and welcome you girls. Life doesn't have to be an active female Battleground. Relax and enjoy and stop attacking already geeesh lol
I wonder why guys never say “ don’t judge me for not wearing gear “ or “ don’t film me “
