Hello! I bought my first koi last May this year she was 3 inches long, and just after 5 months, she's now 11 inches long and very bulky! I wonder if that's normal growth rate for koi. I did not expect her to grow that fast because she was locally bred. Like what they say, locally bred don't grow as big as japanese ones. Also she doesn't even look great like a good quality one. So I wonder if her fast growth is something special or just normal. Though she's Doitsu, I've heard that they grow faster. Idk.. but that 8 inches growth just wthin 5 months is shocking to me. Thanks!

Hi Shawn, sent you a picture and video on IG of the two Omosako my son and I picked out at your store. Just reached the 10 week mark, one of them grew 7cm or so. 😊 100g heated stock tank and auto feeder, water change every 2-3 days.
