      Should be same and save you time prepping the carrots. I love fermented foods. Before fridge was invented this was how you store foods for long time. Just make sure nothing fuzzy is on top of jar. Also be sure the fermenting juice covers the food you're preserving to prevent bacteria and mold from eating food and growing. Either use something that press down the foods or dont overcrowd the jar or add more fermenting juice.

      I used those. The organic ones were all they had that night. Just completed two jars but I went with two tables spoons of sugar and two of salt. We will see in a month! I did eggs as well. Tip. BUY pre hard boiled eggs. Easier than peeling.....wasted a lot. I will do that next time. Now to pickle some other veggies. I’m into it now but the house smells of vinegar and red pepper flakes!

    I forgot to mention, add the sauce mixture and give the whole wok (including veggies and beef) a quick stir before adding the corn starch and water. This is exactly at 2:44.
