Lived here when i was about 7, in the mid 1970's, learnt to swim in the headland pool in the middle of winter with big waves coming in, i though i was going to be swept out to sea; Used to body-surf in 10-15 foot waves, almost died a dozen times or so; Got picked up and slammed into the sand on my head a couple of times... Come home from school, down to the beach until 6 or 7PM, climbed the headland cliffs, cut my toe open on a broken bottle (5 stitches), got stuck under a huge rock, with the tide coming in, almost died, miss Curl Curl....great times, thanks for the memories.

Now, that’s a great example, when you don’t need fancy gear to create nice footage. Do you use gimbal when you are filming on ice?
Thank you, I've been into colour grading lately and I think it's starting to pay off. Still a lot to learn though. I used a gimbal for most of my on ice shoots so far.

Hi, thank you. This was actually shot with no picture profile as the lighting is very poor at this rink. Usually gives me the best results when not having good light. I would use PP11 in this scenario but my A6400 doesn't have it 😀

Hi, not all the ice rinks in Australia have the single purpose of ice hockey, so some of them are only equipped with removable safety nets.

The crazy part isn't the fact this rink is in Australia, but there aren't glass panes on top of the boards
