I started this channel to share my knowledge and field experience to the world. I have more than 14 years experience in construction industry including 8 years in Dubai, UAE where the environment is most severe and too much care is taken during construction to sustain the durability of the structure.
I will share knowledge related to materials, concrete mix design, asphalt JMF, Steel, cement, waterproofing, protective coating, road construction, bridges construction, underpass construction, utilities work, earthwork, investigation, gabions, weir, apron, dams, tunnels, pipes, valves and much more.
It will also include crusher plant erection, asphalt continuous plant and batching plant erection and calibration, concrete batching plant etc.
I am working as Materials Engineer with Parsons Corporation and did my MS in Engineering Geology with specialization in construction material feasibility for Concrete and Asphalt.

The standard mentioned in slide no. 18 of this video BS EN 12620 but it is actually BS 882. It is a typo error. Please add this. Hi Gerv Morales The mentioned value/percentage we got after doing trials with different aggregate percentage. These are not specified but we are getting by finalizing the required gradation. Hope you understand..

Noted, the description for step 4 & 5 are represented by number 1 & 1. The viewer should read the description in sequence where the first 1 after 3 represent step number 4 of pugmill and the last one in the right bottom represent step 5 of pugmill operation.

What's that an infinite slump. Send it a 10. Truck gets on site. Add another 10 gallons
This is actually initial slump so we are getting more. We need 200+-25mm after 1 hour. The water cement ration for this .29 and the admixture is mostly Type F for high early strength. This is a 65 Mpa concrete mix design. This high slump is not because of water @ Robert Kemp
