They said you got exempt for 5 years after you pass the exam, but what if I already passed college english and math classes, do I still have to retake it after the 5 years?
I got a 148 on the GED test, which isn't exactly exempt from the tsi, but I'm hoping I will do well on the TSI.

Is this class an online that you provide?
Hi, We have 2 online classes. 1. TSI Jump Start is LIVE - 2 hours live with me or the other teacher. We cover concepts that we know people need to really understand. 2. And the Online Academy at your own pace, hours of customized teaching for the TSI MATH. Everyone that has joined they left undeerstanding better and confident to continue in their studies and to take the test. Also, many have come back and shoed us their grade in College Algebra or hteir other math. This is a win win.
@@IDKSimpleMath Thanks for the info! Are the classes free? And when is the next class online? Do you recommend doing the classes closer to test time? So material is fresh in their minds.
@@cbrwn4285 The classes are not free. But I recommend that you have a date set to take the test. And give yourself 2-3 weeks to study. If you are weak in math, our teaching is directed to very detailed to go over important details that usually keep people from passing the test. Proper foundation is critical. What math are you taking after the passing the TSI test? Our classs prepare for test and college test. Next class is Thursday afternoon and evening or saturday for the Jump Start live ($37). This is a win win. and after the live you can continue with the academy. Or start there.

It will be my first time to take TSI. I'M from the Philippines. I've started college since 1994. Came back to college in the Philippines 2013 to 2015. But, the University here in US wants me to take the college entrance. So, I started my review now.

what happens if u do bad on the test?
Nothing happens. You are not allowed to take your college math class. If college student, they will allow you to take a remedial math course, but not an high school student. You can take the TSI as many times you want to pay for it.

@@jojobinks5848 hi, the 2021 TSI 2.0 has 2 opportunities to pass. In the first 20 and in the 48. So do not stop or quit the test. Continue, if you make a LEVEL 6 which is part of the 48 you have passed the math portion of the test.

I do not think it is harder. But if you do not have an average foundation in math it will seem hard, even if it is easier. But at least you have 2 opportunities on the same test. Good luck.

That's not true.. I know many people who failed the TSI and still went on to graduate in their field of choice. Statistics mean nothing. It's about dedication and work ethics.

You are considered college ready when you pass the subject you tested in.

TSI is required to enter a public college. Not for graduation, But some high school require you have passing for SAT, TSI or STAAR.

Hello. The TSI is a state mandated test to ensure that a student is college level ready. But have you taken college algebra already in Florida? Will Texas accept your classes? There are 20 questions if you pass it. But in the first 20...if you are failing. The test will start over and add an extra 40 problems to determine what remedial math class a student will take. Tsi is algebra 1 and algebra 2. Good luck
