Can you show an example of how paying yourself back (with interest) affects your cash value and death benefit? I think that is the biggest disconnect that never gets explained properly. Especially with all the people trying to shoot down this strategy. And while paying extra interest to yourself will definitely grow your wealth, why not use example of doing a hard money loan to a real estate investor, investing in RE notes, taking $50k and putting it in the stock market at the next crash, etc etc to show the growth where you're not necessarily paying back yourself back slightly higher interest than you're paying for the policy loan. I feel nobody does a great job explaining this aspect. They focus on early cash value and death benefits.

So i am new to the concept but I've been absorbing everything IBC for about a year and started my family's first 4 policies 5-6 months ago. With the end of the year on us now I've spent extra time going over my own results and thus far they have exceeded my expectations. I am all-in on the concept, drank the kool-aid, study the book and understand this is process that takes time. Could take 12 - 20 years but i agree with Nelson when he says that eventually gross income and yearly policy deposits should match. So my question is: how fast of growth may be considered too fast? When would a client's eagerness start to give you cause for concern in their ability to sustain it? I see the value in getting on it sooner than later but i also don't want to cause financial stress to my family from over extending myself during the first few years.

Is it ever possible to be able to insure an employee while being a sole-proprietor small business as opposed to a corporation in 🇨🇦? I have one key employee/ neighbour/ family friend who is irreplaceable to my small business and I would be at a serious economic loss should he graduate prematurely. Is to incorporate my business really the only way to be able to insure my interest in this individual?

In the last example i still don't quite follow why would you put your recaptured payments into a segregated account first instead of just putting those payments straight onto your policy loans?
