How To Use A Paddock Stand On Yamaha MT07? Easy DIY Project
If you own a Yamaha MT-07, you might already know the frustration: the bike doesn’t come with paddock stand spool mounts. This means you’re stuck using paddock stands with L-hooks, which can feel flimsy and unstable.
While aftermarket chain adjusters with integrated spools exist, they come with their limitations-they’re great for lubing the chain but won’t allow you to remove the rear wheel.
So i decided to make some adapters, that way I'm able to use racing paddock stands with C-hooks instead of those unstable L-brackets.
This can be done with almost any bike that does not come standard with paddock stand spool mounts.
Let me know what you think!
Materials used:
Paddock spools: amzn.to/412DigU
Paddock stand: amzn.to/417MsZl
Metal:
Steel strip 20x3mm
M10 connector nuts: amzn.to/3Ou0Q6M

      @BuiltbyJohn1 what was the size of the rectangular tubing and square tubing you used for the rotating support system?

    • @BuiltbyJohn1
      @BuiltbyJohn1 Місяць тому

      The square tubing is 80x30x2 mm, so the 3 tubes of 25x25x2 fit in perfectly.

    When you need to do hundreds of rivet nuts on a project... just get the tool.

      @@jlskeptic yes, doing a lot of those this way would be quite time consuming. The fastest way would be a pneumatic one :)
