This game is amazing in Private Servers , otherwise is too grindy but seriously extremely grindy , i do not recommend to play in Public Servers if you want to really enjoy all the game content .

350+ hours in solo and still not at level 60. I'm pretty new to the genre so I'm still learning things about this game. However as a generally steadfast player the grind is stupid. I thought in solo mode after 100 or so hours I'd be at god tier and run around just wrecking shi.....still not close lol.

If you know what you're doing you can hit maximum awareness in one week ...

We started a new server pvp official 4 days ago and already awareness 45. Didn’t even min max the best we could but yeah idk.

You get get easily 40-45 in 3 hours by just doing npc fortress. Even 50-55 you can do in a day. I highly disagree with your problem - if it was about me i'd even half the xp gain. If you expect AFK farming to be the way to get XP, you are far away from reality.

Awareness level and limited max even on tribesmen. All the leveling is ridiculous. I get that Steel can bridge the gap, but leveling after awareness 30 is so slow and grindy that I feel like I should get paid hourly for it.

I don't know how much I agree with this. I partly wonder how much of this comes from the WoW gaming influence that: if you're not at endgame, then it's impossible to experience fun while playing. Secondly, I don't agree that it's impossible to catch up if you started late. You can start a brand new character, tame a single good Tribesman to control, grab enhanced steel equipment from the tribe armory, and voila... you've caught up. YOU don't need to be awareness 60, all it means is that someone else takes care of the crafting. If you're solo, or bringing a new tribe to a server, then you SHOULD have to go through the same amount of work to catch up to the other tribes. For PvP, I can't say for certain, but I imagine people would complain if when a new server started, the entire server was in enhanced steel by the first PvP window. Then they'd be complaining that the previous tiers didn't even matter and the game is too short. If anything, they should have diminishing exp gains on crafting (or just 0 awareness exp period) and increase the awareness exp from doing activities in the world. That would disincentivize this boring afk-crafting gameplay loop that seems prevalent at the moment and get people out actually playing the game.

it took me 3 days to get to level 40 with 10h gameplay just doing everything from grinding mobs/farming/ looking for tribesman for 5-6 hours. Not sure how it takes u all that many hours xD? Thats on official btw.NEVER stood on bench crafting. You guys doing something wrong. Here is what i did. 1.Farm ore 2.Farm level 40+ Location in bronze then it got faster with the silver items. 3 days = level 40 Aw. On newly launched servers.

I got 500+ hours oficial pvp ingame , 50% of time its on a forge/table, but i also think that leveling should not be that easy , so im on the developers side on this i like the current way it is , i would maybe go on x1.5 more on awarness ,since from 50 to 60 takes forever , but you dont want max out ppls in 1 week , the game has contentent for long term , not to fihish the game fast

I haven't looked to see how many hours I have played, but I'm currently awareness 42 and actually think the leveling experience has been just fine. These type of games aren't meant to be rushed and are meant to be taken at your own pace and enjoy the experiences along the way. Admittedly, I don't play on a PVP server or even an official server, but my home server with me and my brother is 100% vanilla and with no tweaks. The only gripe I have about the game is how punishing it can be in the early game. Before you were able to resurrect tribesman. We went in completely blind and didn't do any research. So both of us probably around 30 awareness before we ever realized there was a table and that grind was a very punishing challenge

Well if you want in survival game endgame stuff after 100 hours of play so sure its slow.

I currently got 189hrs in the game, and man, I feel your pain. The leveling up is really ridiculously slow. I'm 100% behind you on your humble request to Soulmask.

The only way to farm XP that actually is legit is locking down a copper mine and just spamming it on repeat. Giy on my pvp aerver got lvl 55 2nd day of release on server. Simple as that

A way I like to heal when fighting mobs is to use a bandage from a death box. It skips the animation and starts right away allowing you to never have to stop and keep fighting

FYI , from level 50 to 60 you need around 12million exp, Best case scenario you get 200k exp per hour, thats 60h of farming this camp. Goodluck guys :)
