⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ NYCT: Manhattanville Bus Loaners In Action On The Bx11 & Bx21.
In this video we see a sight that hasn't been seen in a few years. Manhattanville sent Orion VIIs, New Flyer XDEs, and Novabus LFS HEVs over to West Farms Depot in the Bronx. In the PM rush hour, both the Orion & New Flyer entered service on the Bx21 back to back. The Nova would enter service on the Bx11. This is quite a rare sight to see as we haven't seen Orions in the Bronx since the Orion VII NGs left Gun Hill(excluding snow loans). So without further ado enjoy this video of the loans.

Recently, as of Wednesday. A set of R179 cars made its way over to Jamaica Yard and entered service on the F line. On this particular day, this train ran down to Kings Highway from Queens and arrived to the terminal late. Around 5:15PM on Monday at the height of the PM Rush, a R160 randomly appeared on the N line. Here we see this train running through South Brooklyn on the Sea Beach Line.

During the early morning hours of April 2, 2024 a R160 was pulled out from CI yard to supplement AM Rush Hour service on the W. This train ran a round trip from 86th to Astoria & back down to 86th Street. In this video you will also see the train utilize the via Bridge program, an unusual sight on a local service let alone the W train. Enjoy!

Throughout the months of early November - Late December, R160B cars 8768-8772 were wrapped in a Starbucks winter themed wrap to promote the slogan "Share The Joy" to promote their drinks.
