You’ll barely get truly bricked hands on Testcase 2 now, but his mana management has gotten a lot worse due to Arcsys shooting Instant Mana in the knee. It’s a little controversial whether Testcase 2 has actually gotten better or not, but if you were to ask me I’d say: Yes it is slightly better than last patch. The random import buff was rather significant to TC2’s consistency. It’s just that the rest of the cast is so much stronger than Asuka as of now, that we don’t really get to enjoy it.

Kind of, yeah. You simply don't get to play the game properly as an average Asuka. You either gap hard enough to overcome that period or crumble

​​@@drasticgrayMy intention is not to come across as rude here, but I do not see how I can take my turn back when a Potemkin user is flicking any gaps in my pressure/gatlings or even 2D. I play in Celestial, and you rarely see a Potemkin player use flick in neutral - unless they do not understand the Asuka match-up. When doing that, they are essentially asking to be countered with 5HS or Submicron - if the Asuka user has meter...

Lmao I think I was the last one you faced(if you use the same username as here) and fyi every special excepting change test case and recover mana are air ok, even chant without a spell in that slot(a not very useful air stall for baiting 6p ig)

It’s one of the only reasons to keep the DP unfortunately, using it in the air is kind of the safest way to use it

I could’ve done that, but I don’t use full order to begin with. If I did use it I’d be fishing for a continuous mana and auto import and run offense in testcase 1. I was drawn to Gobou’s exodia playstyle when I started playing Asuka, but soon after that I didn’t really feel like it was the playstyle for me, I enjoy enforcing mix on people.

3 major misinputs and a dream. But nah, I hadn’t played the game for 2 days and this was almost my first game on, it can’t be helped. On a sidenote, I’ve been playing against so many Dizzy’s, and she is surprisingly weak to superjump in the same way Asuka is. It’s quite winnable :D.
