Welcome to another trip report with the German airline, Lufthansa. In today's video, travel with me from Munich, Germany, to Naples, Italy! This is my first time flying Lufthansa for a short haul flight. Legroom was ample on this Airbus A320-271LN, service was efficient, and I got to try Lufthansa's chocolate! When you arrive in Napoli any immigration documents check in point gate
Since I travelled to Munich beforehand all of the documents were already checked!
Spectacular views Luca, especially the approach into Napels with the Vesuvio in the background.😍

@@lucasadventures_ Did you like the A320neo? I’m always impressed by the size of the engines, and from the inside the engine start sounds a bit like that of the GE90’s on the 777.
@@OtakuAviators I did!! I had never flown on one prior to this video so it was super cool to experience flying on this aircraft! ✈️ and that’s such an interesting fact about the sound of the engines!
Qatar airways at fco is a A330 not a b777

Great video. It is incredible how our airline carriers have ceased that personal customer service no free clean comfortable pillows, blankets, soft drinks, water, a nice meal and if it's a long flight like this one a nice breakfast. It is best to use the European carriers and if possible fly business class or first class. Thanks again.

Great video! Flew Boston to Rome on July 22 on ITA with old Alitalia a330 how was delta in comparison? Had old Alitalia livery going but the new blue livery on the way home. Have to say really like the blue.
Thank you so much for watching, Azad! Really appreciate your support! I personally enjoyed our flights with Delta this past Summer. Their IFE has tons of options, they offer free onboard SMS messaging, decent dinner and breakfast, and pretty good service! I haven’t flown ITA but always flew with them prior to the switch when they were Alitalia!! How were your experiences flying ITA??
Glad to hear it i was curious about it. Ita was just like Alitalia. Planes are a little tired and outdated at this point but the newer fleet they have coming in looks very nice. Have to say the food service from Rome to Boston was much better (Italian catering company of course) but was sad to see they stopped carrying the blood orange juice! It was nostalgic flying the old livery but looking forward to Logan getting the a330-900 in the new fleet. Good to know delta is a great option too! Do you have any footage from regional flights in Italy? Like heading to Lamezia?
@@ANK72788 the blood orange (arancia rossa) juice from Santal is my absolute favorite!! On Delta they offered a variety of juices during both dinner and breakfast services (inbound) and for the lunch and snack services (outbound). I completely agree with you on how the food service is much better quality on the return flights! Unfortunately, I have not flown with Alitalia/ITA to Lamezia since 2016 as in the last 6-7 yrs have stopped over in Rome on my way to visiting Calabria. I recently flew domestically with Lufthansa however to Napoli from Munich and then from Napoli to Frankfurt!! I have an A380 trip report (Bos-Muc) which is premiering tomorrow!! And yes, Delta has expanded their international services greatly at Logan ever since declaring BOS a hub! I greatly recommend them for international flights as well as domestic! Thank you so much for all your support!

Do you think the premium economy is worth the extra money Luca?
Hi Giuliano! I would say for longer haul flights, absolutely. I found the legroom on this flight to be much more spacious and the meals to be a huge upgrade from economy. For this flight in particular, Alitalia bumped us up as the seats had not filled up in premium economy so some economy passengers were able to get a free upgrade. It was such a fun experience and I’d say worth the extra money if your flight is ultra long haul (which I consider over 7 hours ). Thank you so much for watching and hope this helps :)
