Even ghosts and ghouls 👻 Oh it’s great that you enjoyed reading/rereading that book and that it has managed to inspire you so! Hm, as for Dutch classics, I really wouldn’t be able to name a single one I’ve read and enjoyed, to be honest 🙈 Weirdly enough we do cover Shakespeare’s poetry for a bit with English class here, but for Dutch class it focuses mostly on books that were maybe written in the 1970s and 80s, and not much further back. I think there was a story or two that were older, but that’s it. Kinda strange, now that I think about it 🤔 As for Halloween games, I love to play Animal Crossing this time of year, because it really captures the Halloween mood rather well in October with all the pumpkins you can grow and harvest, and the adorable pumpkin decorations you can make for your home and island 😍🧡 It’s super cozy~ lol, so far Natsuki has only been trying to steal the little spiders we keep in the bowl on the table! I like the idea of a “safe system” rather than a safe place! I think what you need and what works for you depends on how you perceive life at the moment, and since life is always changing, our coping mechanisms do too 🤎 I understand it must be tough to find a balance if your relationship with video games has become a bit messy; I hope you’ll get to enjoy them someday again, without feeling like you’re losing yourself too much in them, and I hope life will treat you a little bit kinder each and every day 🙏🥰 It’s tough sometimes 🥲 But things always get better again in the end, I’ve learned 🤍 Yeah, during the summer it’s so much easier to just pop out whenever you feel like it! I’m still trying to go out regularly now though, because autumn really is an excellent season for walks 😍🍁 Oh, thanks for your question! I have indeed written quite some books to be honest, and several of them are published, in Dutch as well as in English. I was still trying to decide whether to talk about all that on the channel because I’ve stopped writing and publishing a couple of years ago, because life happened, I changed as a person, and I kind of got tired of the genre I had been writing in, which was paranormal romance. These days I’d rather write something more lighthearted, but I just really need to find some time and the peace of mind to get to work on a new book again 🙈 I’d really love to soon though 🤎 My pen name is Lynn Robin, but I think that whenever I write a new book, I’d probably use another name. I think. I don’t know. I’m at a loss haha 🙈😅 Anyways, sorry for the long-winded reply, but thank you so much for watching my videos, it truly means a lot 🥹🙏🤎

I asked this question because recently I've been toying with the idea of writing a non-fiction book. It would be a great creative outlet but ultimately the aim would be to get it published to gain something out of it (although I don't have any degree in the field so that may be impossible 🥴). Fully commiting to the idea without knowing where it may lead is a bit daunting. Especially when writing (or any "content" that we create) takes a lot of our mental energy

But I guess that is the case for anything that is creative - like when I decided to start a UA-cam channel, I had no idea where it would lead, and I still don’t, but I keep pouring all of this energy and time into it basically because it just makes me happy 🤭 So even if you don’t know yet how you would like to publish your work, if you feel this call to write your book, then maybe you should seriously consider it! I always like to say that I rather have tried to chase my dreams, then never have done it and forever keep wondering “what if” 🙏🤎✨

Oh thanks so much!! 🥰🙏 As for mechanical pencils, I use the Pentel P209 0.9mm! It’s rather thick and a bit on the heavy side - for sketching you could opt for a thinner one (I’m not an expert at all, but I think people often suggest 0.7mm), but personally I think this one is super comfortable to draw with, and as long as you don’t put too much pressure on it, your sketches don’t become too dark/heavy. Unless that’s what you’re going for of course! I hope you’ll find more time to draw in the future! It’s so therapeutic ☺️🤎🐻
