Hey man thanx so much for this video. You saved my life bro. I had my car tuned using Hondata and ever since I left the Dyno my car has been running funny and I've been getting all warning lights constantly. I recently switched to KTuner and immediately that code popped up which wasn't showing up in my Hondata. I searched some videos and came across this one. Sure enough the green wire was completely disconnected from the plug. I soldered the wire like you said and my car is back in business. 💯💯💪🏻💪🏻 Thank you man.

How do I do this with a E53 x5? You said the doors need to be unlocked but on the x5 the doors automatically lock after putting them in the ignition

I own a 128i that has non comfort access which means the key “can not be serviced” according to the dealer. The key needed a new battery since it had low battery but if you go for a long drive (30-60mins) the key will recharge while the car is running,hope this helps someone

Turn the key to ignition 1. Take the key out. Press and hold down the unlock button while you press the lock button three times (a bit quicker than this guy did).

Have you ever had to replace the dash wiring harness? My civic is pulling that code after replacing everything else. Srs module, front sensors , front seat belts clock spring andb wheel air bag. Just curious, have never had to do that.

Buy a the pods that you need to recharge smart i watches , you can charge both keys together , using an elastic band, one key to each side of the pod ......enjoy

a lot of plastic panels will end up chipped or scratched no matter how gentle you are. the interior plastic on the civic although well finished and good looking is very cheap and easily prone to scuffs

If I only need to replace the drivers and passenger side air vents, do I need to dissemble the entire dashboard? 😢 It’s literally just broken vent clips that the dealership quotes me $1700 to fix but the part is $30 on eBay so I want to do it myself without having to take the entire dashboard apart.

i see you replaced the airbags i have the same car with airbags now replaced . did you have to reset the airbag ECU crash data?

did you get into an accident or something because this car looks like its been sitting for a while in a garage for over a year?
