Your video is much appreciated, thanks! Your instruction helped plenty. I had the case of the cabin blower in my Peugeot 307 working only on speed no. 4 (deafening). My plug was not melted but the blower seemed much more difficult to dislodge from the initial (driver side) access, so the trick you showed, of opening the recirculation flap, probably saved me a lot of struggle. It was much easier to get "comfortable" in a prone position in the passenger side footwell and to access the resistor from there, without even removing the glove box. I only removed the flexible cover under the glove box (3 plastic rivets) and another piece of interior siding that would be next to the passenger's left foot (2 torx screws and another plastic rivet). Took only 15 minutes or so, and a few minor scratches on my hands, to retrieve the resistor that way.
