why do you have to replace the factory wiring

I am pretty handy. Can i do this on my 19' Dodge Journey?? Base model 2WD.

SO i have to cut out part of my front to do this and then weld the plastic back into the body??????duuuu

I can't get over the fact that there weren't actually any "screws" that were removed in the video.... They are bolts!! Also, I hate whoever is designing these new vehicles to where we have to disassemble half the vehicle just to change out a light bulb..

Hi question? On the orginal one there was a silver circular thing where you stick the headlight in, looked like it was part of the brackets. Does the new one not need that doing part?
