Duckweed for compost. Easy gardening
nice set up but ..heat lamp not necessary unless your house goes below 68 dgr....they actually like ambient temps,....
@@avaogara a lot of people say they like a basking spot of 85 degrees. When I first got him he sat under the heat lamp for 2 straight days.. the temperature gradient is about 85 at basking 90 directly under the heat lamp which he never is. Once you move an inch from the basking spot it cools to below 80. Non basking top side( on the left) is about 75 degrees and the boytom of the tank is 68 tp 70. In my opinion this sounds like a good gradient?
@@feltysaquaria819 what species gecko ? ...I own a crested d gecko ...n no heat required..if necessary breeder say a room heater to bump up room Temps
@avaogara gargoyle gecko. They’re close but not identical. Both new Caledonian geckos
@ during the summer I’ll probably never run the heat lamp. I have a thermostat on the way so it’ll just turn on til my basking spot hits 82 or so and then back off again
It looks so skibidi Ohio 🙆
He looks cool. Hard to spot, good that you showed him up close 😁
@@vertigoone-one-722 more video coming soon… ready to see some plant growth. This thing is gonna be. A forest
I’ll be spraying it for a while but probably set up a mister for when I’m away in a couple months
Looks nice man. Will you be adding an automatic mist thingy or will you spray it down by hand from time to time?
Looking good so far buddy, great to see a vid of yours again. Congratulations on the marriage! Did you finally get the newt's? I can't remember 😅
No sir. I moved my whole house around. Palladium was a failure. Maybe I’ll revisit in the future but for now I’m happy to succeed at making something nice lol
Just use a soldering iron
Maybe he doesnt have one? I dont
An Even Easier Way To Do It Is To Simply Attach A Cutting Attachment Tip To A Soldering Iron.
How nice
Oh darn, that is looking so good man! Hope it tastes as good as it looks, enjoy!
What is the trashcan in the ground for?
Yep, thats not duckweed... still a good fertilizer, but
Thanks man. I’m happy with everything I’ve been harvesting having some salads this week with all those greens! Wish you the best from Illinois!
Darn you got a lot going already buddy. You almost doubled the veggie garden space. Orchard space looks good to. Everything seems to go great, so excited for you man
Heck yeah plants
Yes plants!
OH buddy you cracked me up a couple of times there 😂🤣. Everything looks super man! You really got it down if you ask me
Haha thanks man! I'm trying!
🌼🐝🌻I’m back for another update of your beautiful garden. It’s amazing to see the changes in your plants over time. I love watching my garden grow a little each day, that is my favorite part of gardening. It’s so fun to have the growth documented over the season to look back at and see your progress. I love that about being a garden UA-camr. Let’s learn & grow more together! 🐝👨🌾🌼🐇🌻🦋🌳
I agree.. I love watching my garden. Love the channel name
Hi, Very recently I bought Sunsun HW 304-B canister filter. I found the UV light is not working continuously and always blinking from the beginning. Is this normal or it has to lighting continuously without blinking.
Looking super buddy!
Thanks buddy just trying to let it grow in
Thanks for the content
No problem buddy love you... Video today with all the trees in it. But they're still bare for now
Great selection buddy! Hopefully the Frost won't get to them, we still have 3 to 5 Frost days begin mai and I don't seed or plant directly in the soil before that.
Our last frost date is in early April here but we have a few more that are borderline freezes coming. Everything I have out now will take the frost but the corn I'm hoping will germinate right after these next few days. Then I'll plant out my tomatoes late this month. Peppers in may sometime. I also have a large lake that keeps my temp more stable than weather sites predict. Haha long comment. Thanks as always for your comment man!!
That's not duckweed, that's water spangles. Duckweed is a smaller top water plant, its really fine. But I'm about to start a similar experiment and hopefully it'll work exactly how I anticipated.
Ponds looking great buddy! Nice udate on the garden to
Thanks man! I'll be digging this weekend for the trees. I finally have some content!
@@feltysaquaria819 try to edit the vids buddy, they can be a bit long... try to stay under the 15 minutes
@@vertigoone-one-722 lol I doubt I'll be editing anytime soon. Just too busy but I'll try to cut them down a bit and plan what I'm gonna say better. Hopefully people will be drawn to all the crazy stuff I plan and sometimes execute on. This channel is mostly for fun and almost like a journal of where I started!
Great, looks like you got your job cut out for you 😁. At least you guys had some snow.... No quick view of the fish in the ponds whilst you were out there, not exeptable buddy!
Lol I have them covered with plastic still
I will be reopening them sometime in mid March I think so video will be coming up. I plan to make better tops later so I can pull them off and film during winter. But the plastic was cheap lol
Wow man the tank looks absolutly stunning buddy! The plants are looking good to, a bit of melt down from new plants is normal, specialy if the were grown out of the water. Sounds like you have big plans for the garden to. Looking forward to your video buddy
Thanks for tuning in buddy. I'll come check some videos on your channel since I'm off today!! Much love from the US
That duckweed does look big, like salvinia size
Hey buddy, Nice video man! The Orange flower around 4:50 is indian crest I think, you can eat the flower. The radishes you can make them with some vinigret or like pikled I think, I will ask my stepdouther she is a chef and can tel me for shure.
Everything looks great man, you did a great job! I will get back to you on the radishes in a private message
@@vertigoone-one-722 Thank so much man. I realized after I read this that I had them mixed up. The orange is the nasturtium and yes you can eat the flowers. I went to look up Indian cress and thats them. I was calling them by there other name nasturtium. Thanks buddy. Also I've decided I like radish ok on salad but I'm gonna only grow a few next year!!
Damn man you keep going! I love what you did to or buddy, the ammount of veggies that you will be able to plant next year is nuts!
Im going for a big variety. Expect quite a few videos next season man. Ive more or less narrowed down what I should grow now.
Also thank you!!
Sweet man those bristelnoses realy look good man! Awesome video buddy!
Thanks man
Your paludarium looks so so awesome man, starting to age well! Love what you did to the sump, top notch diy buddy
Thank you so much! It keeps a much better flow now I think I'm gonna like it. I'm gonna let these guppies grow a bit and get the newt on the way. I don't think he'll eat too many 😂
@@feltysaquaria819 my Guppies have lots of room to swim away might be a problem for yours... But if they are fast enough
I think I have good enough hiding spots but I won't know til i try :)
A short video he says in the beginning 🤣😂... love the strawberry sac things man the stove looks dope to! You did a awesome job on the veggie garden buddy
Thanks buddy. That was supposed to have posted so long ago. I think my internet messed it up I got a few more videos coming down the pipeline.
Steve man wtf! Oh buddy that was so funny 🤣😂. Ponds and veggies look awesome buddy to bad for the bugs but you got it covered. The chart looks awesome to and lets not forget the seculants
Hey thank you so much buddy. Just trying to share my journey. Steven really loves coming in the garden with me. Only problem is he wants to be petted while im watering lol. He definitely gets a little damp by the end of it. I'll be going back to work full time soon but I'll still have videos out from time to time for sure. I appreciate all your support my friend
@@feltysaquaria819 so great you found a fulltime job man! Private life comes first buddy
@@vertigoone-one-722 I've had way too long off. I'm sure I'll be at least a little happy to get back to work man. Feel a little less lazy too
Looks good Savannah, you did a great job!
Loving the vids. You should take a look at Promosm!! ! It’s a great way to quickly grow your channel!!
Ok ill check that out. I appreciate the interest in the videos
They look awesome buddy where are you gonna put them? Pond or aquarium?
Those are the ones f on the pond. You just can't ever see them that good
@@feltysaquaria819 oh ok I didn't know that, they are stunning to bad that they don't come true on camera when they are in the pond!
Why did you get them out of there? A special occasion or planning something wild?
I just wanted to show them off and not just to you. I remember how much better they look outside. My white clouds never looked this good inside.
They were always more yellow and less vibrant. I think they're more active out here too. They appreciate heavy flow and cold water so when it rains on them they always stay near the top. As long as they survive winter this time I'd like to see what they'll look like in a year or so
Looking great buddy! If you want your peppers to go from flower to pepper you need ro tap the flower lightly, that wat it self polinates we forgot to do it this year and only have one peper on a plant. Rest looks awesome
I have been giving them a little shake from time to time. I might have enough pollinators already. I see like 100 or more bees on the daily. Quite a few wasps and mud dobbers in and out so that should help a little bit. We got a big storm today so I pray they're doing ok. Thank you for the comment buddy! Hopefully have some food here soon
I'll let you know if we get any peppers I think I got them out a little late this year plus it's been extra hot here 🥵
The frogs help with the snails to win win mate. Ponds are looking good to man. Sweet
@@vertigoone-one-722 Thanks so much man. I think you have a video I need to go watch too! I'm super happy about the frogs in the garden man. The more the merrier. Love those little dudes. I need to buy some for the ponds if they're good to eat snails lol
Hopefully they make there way into the ponds and clean up
Looking good buddy, looking verry good! Like how the green collor is transfered to the fish... sweet
Yessir I'm pretty happy
Nice buddy!
Mashaallah Nice Sharing Dear Friend 😊 Love your videos 💚💚💚💚💚 Stay connected 😊👍👍👍👍👍
Hey thank you so much for the support. I appreciate every comment!
It is looking sweeeet my man! Loved the vid
I'm almost there!! Ready for that big harvest. Thanks for the support ;)
Good job buddy! It is big, you are going to have a butload of veggies. And yes we use the technique over here to
It definitely saved me some money man and probably time too
Looking good buddy thx for the update 😋
No problem man XD THANKS
Nice info buddy, I'm thinking of adding a floating ring to keep the duckweed in one place. It tends to go in my intakebay and then I trow it out with falen leaves or algea that collected there...
Yes a ring would be nice. It's a bit invasive but I was surprised you can compost it with good effect
Nice update buddy, the ponds look super clear. The veggies look good to
The garden is about to get another update too
@@feltysaquaria819 Nice will check it out when it is done, you should get a before shot of the whole thing and then a done shot of the whole thing. Just so That we can see the difference better

@@vertigoone-one-722 Ok buddy I'll do that. It's gonna be a big change. Keep ya posted ;)
Hey buddy, I have the same flowers from the begining, they are so bieutifull. Don't think they would survive in a pond they have like boll roots (don't know the english name).
Yeah online they said they'll grow around a pond but not fully under water. I might still try lmao
I really like em
Nice update buddy have fun in Saint Louise
Looks awesome buddy, so anoying that the camera's can't pick up all the colloration on the fish and do them right
So true man. He's getting better looking so maybe I'll be able to get a shot to do him justice. A few moments in that vid you could almost tell
Gorgeous fish!!
Nice update buddy, great to see that all the plants are doing awesome! Never heard of a purple bell pepper plant myself, must be a special veriety I gues. You could try to propagate the tree in a few different methods, cut of a twig and set it in water or you could go for the soil around a trunk method that will in term give roots and then you cut it under the roots and just re plant the piece
Thanks for the tips. Does cutting a branch off actually work? I'd heard it does so I was gonna try that.
@@feltysaquaria819 yes if it is not to big it works for some species. Just put it in water to grow out roots, of that doesn't work you will have to trie the soil method
It looks awesome buddy! Thx for the sneek peek of the newts, they look so good btw they will realy pop in the paludarium
I'll be ordering them today or tomorrow man!
Nice update buddy. Could it be that some of the plants are a bit to deep in the water... That might be the reason why some don't do to good. Kittens love to play! Have a great one buddy
Yeah I think that may be it but I'm gonna continue trying to get them to grow like this
