I ditch the same way as you!..not many guys do it like that!..I even had a ditch Foreman tell me he didn’t like the way I ditch and wanted me to change it and I told him if he can find someone who can ditch faster than me or even just keep up I will change…spread boss told him to shut his mouth!..keep diggin my friend!
Why would you spoil on the other side of that pipe? Wouldn't that make backfill a pain? Also, why slope such a shallow ditch that much? Yeah you're moving quickly, but that's only the begging of the job. It looks to me like you're fucking yourself for backfill and you've taken out way to much material
