How long and how hard is Logan’s Ridge compared to South East Ridge?
It's shorter but much steeper and there is no path to follow as its very rocky. If you are comfortable on Beerwah or Tibro you'll be fine but might be best to go up with someone who's done it before :)
How long does it take to the top?
Very nice sunrise video! Keep up the good work. I have subscribed to your channel, I like sunrises too.
Thanks! Just a little preview, while no-one else was around, of where we started our run that morning, did an 11.2km run around the trails across the dam wall, appreciate the feedback 😊🌅
@@trailrunningpete838 wow 11km thats a lot! I run 10 km within a hour
How long did it take you to ascend to West Peak via Savages Ridge? How hard or how different is it compared to ascending to East Peak via SE Ridge?
Hey, took us just over 8hrs including stops, and coming back over East Peak and down South East, with a fairly fast group. Not marked but easy enough to follow the ridge, a few scrambly bits after the first half of the ascent that are a little more difficult than SE, and one tricky chute at the end, but that isn't very long, definitely don't need ropes though. It is a lot more tiring than South and South East, make sure you start early and are well prepared and have plenty of water
This one is unbelievable! Great work
Wow! Stunning as always Pete
OMG Great views! much better views that actually climbing it..
Great filming Pete.
Such great footage Pete, what drone do you use?
Thanks, this was a Mavic Air 2, previously had a Mavic Pro, plenty of footage from that I'll start uploading in the near future
Gnarly climb. Are you landing the drone on ground or to your hand.
In this case I landed in my hand, good skill to learn for uneven areas like this
Awesome. I’d be scared of losing it!
Cool footage. What kind of drone do you have?
This was shot with a DJI Mavic Pro
@@trailrunningpete838 Awesome. It's super clear. We use the Mavic Air because it's a little smaller, but obviously you've run/hiked a bit with yours.
Just got the Mavic Air 2, just uploaded my first video with it from Clagiraba. Got heaps of other great ones with the Mavic Pro I haven't uploaded yet
trailrunningpete I think I just saw it as I was scrolling Facebook, but I’ll have another look
