Lakewell Moves to Unique Workshop Venue
Lakewell feels privileged to be hosted by what is arguably one of the most beautiful heritage sites in the Hesbaye region of Belgium. The Castle of Veulen (Chateau de Fologne) and more particularly the south wing is what Lakewell may call home since the end of 2023.
The Castle was carefully restored in two major campaigns from 2001 to 2009 and from 2017 to 2023. During the last campaign the south wing was also transformed to make it suitable for our manufacturing and restoration activities.
Our new workshop area is spread over 3 levels covering 1200m². It is entirely hand-built with many unusual, bespoke and creative features. Significant efforts have been made to bring historical elements in harmony with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.
We hope this new venue will inspire you as much as it inspires us. We look forward to share our passion and excitement during club days, concours d'elegance, auctions and other classic car events.

Hi Daniel, The floorcarpets on the 911 models '65-89 are simply positioned in the car, not glued. There is a clip on the floorpan that keeps the rear pieces in place. The driver carpet is kept in place behind the accelerator pedal. The passenger and pedalsection carpets have straps that fasten to the floorboards.

Great repair kit. Just installed the tensioning bands over the old ones, drilled out old rusted rivets and installed new rivets over new tensioning bands.

do you have a blueprint or diagram for installing. the 31 piece carpet for a1972 tvr 2500 ? or would you know is one is availble somewhere. im in the us.

Harsh criticism from the other guy; if your tensioning strip is in good condition at the edges of the plates, and you use the correct adhesive, the new tensioner will serve to reinforce the old one! I think this video is extremely helpful. Besides walking through installation step by step, it provides some of the really important insight (despite being in French) that you don't get when you try to work this all out yourself, like how to tension each layer. A little more use of the zoom would have been nice, but I for one can't thank these guys enough for sharing this knowledge!!!
