These models are very tiny, I might try an undercoat of white, dry brush with black and then blue/grays to save time picking out the fiery parts then use inks to paint in the fire.

Thank you for sharing your amazing skills and creating these 'easy' to replicate video's. You make it look easy but no doubt I'll have plenty of struggles to get it right. I'll be following along all your Maladum vids as I just got the (KS) game and will start painting my set straight away. This will definitely improve my skills and uplift my motivation to keep on painting.

Question .. when you say you water it down, are you actually using contrast medium or water ?

Great work! I love the effect that the layering does here. Seems to really bring out that "stitched together from bits" feel of the model.

Fantastic job! Keen to see the layered video too, they both look great but there's some nice textures and detail that come through on the layered one that make it stand out a bit more.

Nice. As a Citadel kind of guy I've used black primer, Thunderhawk Blue base, Fenrisian Grey highlight, and Blue Horror top highlight before adding in the fire. Loving the models! Cheers bud

Those look fantastic! When I painted mine, i picked 3 colours that matched the walls (best I could from my Speedpaint set) and created a camouflage pattern on the drone bodies so they blend in with the environment.

I've been contemplating getting the Core Space sets, as they're not huge games to play, with gorgeous scenery and minis, and now, after seeing your painting series of them, I'm in all the way. Thank you so much for making these videos, as you've inspired me beyond words, and made me a fan of Core Space even before I've played the game or painted a single mini 😃

is that a satin or semigloss primer or is it just flat and I'm seeing things? Great job by the way! I painted my First Born core set minis but haven't cracked open any of the expansions yet. Waiting for winter, but by then I'll be busy painting Maladum minis (hopefully) LOL

Loved the video thanks for sharing, enjoyed them all would just try and nail the mould lines apparent in the first two models as they really draw the eye away from the overall excellent result.
