Salut! Ma bucur ca-ti place iar compania e binevenita oricand.

It was a 16v intake manifold cut short and welded to a flange and the other part of the flange welded to the carboretor housing.

I wasn't pushing really hard as you can see but the surface was covered with a mix of snow leafes and ice. The xj had open differentials front and rear...it was fun but i took the same route with my Rubicon and it was night and day difference. Thanks for your input.

Zapravo, gume za sve terene nisu najprikladnije u ovoj situaciji, ali imaju dovoljno snage jer u videu nisam potrošio ni 50%. Osim toga ni tlak nije bio najprikladniji...mislim da sam imao 2,4 bara. Have a nice winter and thanks for the comment.

Before this uphill I had a downhill on this road but chains only on rear tires and the jeep had keep the straight line on braking. The ice was tricky in a few spots and I didn't want to risk putting the jeep in a bad position because I had no electric winch or tirfor with me. And yes the chains were necessary IMHO. I did not compared the trail without them. Have a nice winter!

It seems so, but I don't really think you could succeed with such a setup (studded tires), especially higher up on the road. For me, using the chains was more of a test because it was the first time I used them and it seemed like a good opportunity. Thank you for the comment man.

Looks like a fun drive up that icy mountain road .Chains worked great . Don't let nay sayers typing from moms basement get to you . Good job , and nice Jeep ... as all Jeeps are . Cheers, Wild Bill , overlanding the remotest parts of Northern Canada.

Yeah It is quite good if you want to perform an easy pull. I also had flexible rope and cable, but it was not needed.

Maybe a little lower psi in the tires might have helped. But I believe that size is an E rated tire and a little stiff for an under 3500 lb. vehicle.

I did everything I could with what I had to help the man but this year will be different because now I own a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon and it will be 4x4 100%

@@curtean1978 I salute you for helping. Just saying that adding lockers will triple the capability of your 4x4.

@@freeidaho-videos It was a good rescue nonetheless. I was impressed when I noticed the diffs are open. Lockers are surely good to have, but in my experience, if you have good tires you don't need lockers, and if you have bad tires lockers won't help either :D

@@alexandervouzenthal8163 I slute the guy for proving a great rescue, but you have extremely limited experience. Anytime the weight on each tire is not the same the light ones spin. Lockers will make sure every wheel is pulling. The best tire, hanging in the air, get no traction, and consequently, the other tire on the ground gets no power. The rescue shown would have been a piece of cake with lockers.

also you need the 52's or (much) bigger. that r1 was 1liter :)
