I'm so happy this one ended on a happy note. I was expecting sadly that was last we see of Daria on the beach. I was shouting at the screen at Daria when she said she only wanted Kinga as part time deal. Poor Kinga spilled her heart out and Daria broke her heart. Fair play to Daria's friend for calling out Daria's bullshit excuse cause she's afraid to love someone back. Daria redeems herself by the end. This was excellently acted by both actress, agreed with the comment saying Aleksandra Pisula is heartbreakingly vulnerable (the scene when Kinga comes out to her Boyfriend to tell him she no longer loves him is a perfect example of it) and Anna Gorajska as Daria is a lot of fun on screen, her nightclub scene was top notch and sexy as hell. This was wonderfully shot as well, the scene of the march was amazing. The love story was heartfelt and touching and both actresses had amazing chemistry. Bit of a shame this one has such low views compared to a lot of bang average WLW type shows which get million of views. 69k views is way too little for this great short.

An incredibly well-crafted drama enacted against the backdrop of Eastern Europe's mad descent into fascism, which has sadly included an increase in homophobic and transphobic sentiment and violence. The actors are stunning in their roles, but Aleksandra Pisula in particular is heartbreakingly vulnerable as the police officer in love with a free-spirited activist. My only wish is that Anna Gorajska's rendition of that beautiful torch song in the nightclub would be available online. I've searched it and her name to no avail.
