Wonderful episode, enjoyed viewing
Looking at some of the prize-winning exhibits I am not sure what the breeders are trying to achieve I think they have lost the plot. Keep up this style of breeding soon the true feature of the bird will be lost. Scraggerly unkempt feather structures some birds look like mutant misfits, birds without eyes, well eyes hidden under a crown of fuzzy feathers these are not budgies they are fantasies. There is no merit in breeding misfits, to change genetics will lead to disaster.
