Desculpem a correria mas precisei fazer o video bem rapidão, espero que gostem! não há segredo! uma hora dessas aprendo a usar o sistema de captura! desculpem os clicks chatos...
I'm not sure how you and other C4D artists make these things work... I mean no offense by this to anyone who works with the software, however, I feel like all of these C4D tutorials are made on simple shapes and perfectly straight rigs, precisely because C4D is too spastic to make anything like this work in practice. I've tried about 60-70 times and wasted about 40 hours trying to get an IK rig set up, to replicate the following Blender rig in C4D: ua-cam.com/video/Zx2LtlZqG3g/v-deo.html The obvious solution is spline IK rig, however, the end point controller will not twist, if placed as a child under another object, and with PSR / Parent constraints, or even Xpresso, will result in awful lag in the bone chain, which breaks the second you undo once... Regardless of priority type and value, C4D absolutely refuses to function the way you need it to. The mid-section bones keep snapping 180 degrees on their own at certain thresholds and it's a never-ending nightmare, trying to adjust the rotation angles of the bones to anything that may stop the snapping. I wonder if Maxon has ever, in the time of being in business, fixed any major functionality bugs in their stupid software. Blender seems to be leagues ahead of them in every aspect now.
Good evening. I am faced with a strange situation. Almost all the behavior in my scene is written using Python tag. In the viewport everything works exactly as it should, but when I try to render the scene only the manually animated object moves, and everything that adjusts the Python tag doesn't work. What could be the problem?
Power of capsules: ua-cam.com/video/NAnGrrHF-6o/v-deo.html Your tutorial helped in part. Wanted to show you the result!
Brilliant!
Great tip bro, thanks
You're doing amazing work! Please start a Patreon so we can support you. This is the best node content around
Very nice video Rodrigo.
Greetings from Maxon :)
Damn, Finally i found what i mean 🥰 thank you very very much bro
thanks but how can i add dynamic spline tag . i am added but not bind with skin
This is awesome. Can you save capsules as presets as well vs scene nodes? Not sure if that makes sense but basically save a stack of capsules under an object as a preset? Thanks!
currently no, but instead of having multiple capsules you can edit and create a single capsule that performs all the wanted modifications that means all the "stacked operations" can be done in a single "noderun" it would probably also perform better I guess
now you have an Asset: how is it possible to use it like a Tag for any object?
This is gold <3 Perfect to understand how Cinema 4D works, so thank you!!
Fab - thanks for sharing.
Ive not used C4D in quite a while and have no idea what this node system is capable of...I wonder, can the node system be used to create say a customizable hair_braid design?
Extremely useful tip! Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷
ae! é nóis!
Great tip. Excellent!
Amazing!
Awesome stuff!!!
Great C4D hack!!! Clever Clever...
Great short cut to avoid excess weight painting°
Very cool° Im still wary of C4D nodes... Capsules sparked my curiosity yet I still feel it is extremely inferior to say a program like Houdini... As much as I love Houdini... I enjoy C4D due to its less complex take on most objectives... Either way i feel Maxon will slowly improve over the years in this department... Great tutorial... I'm interested in seeing more about this topic...
Hi Rodrigo, this is really well done firstly. But I've been having a huge issue & I wonder if you could help. I do everything you say here, But once I select the tag & select the END null, everything breaks. the model (which is effected by the weights), inverting on itself and breaking. all B rotation axises are also randomised & broken. I've absolutely no idea how to fix this, & tried everything. Any help would be appreciated.
great tricks!
Fab - thanks!
subscribed! I hope for more tuts of capsules!
more about capsules pls! there aren't enough info on youtube ...
Very Cool!
At this moment is quite absurd that C4D is making you turn the plane into an editable poly to use fields to select polygons, there should absolutely not be any need.
Correction deformer :)
So basically Houdini...
I have not used the node editor before, so question for you Rodrigo - how did you get that menu at ua-cam.com/video/QdOMUMOL6gM/v-deo.html ? Thanks
pressing C or double clicking in a empty space.
Excellent lwnt animation and moves, it is proof that you have an incredible talent, im looking forward to learn and practice more, you are inspiring me, thanx.
Thanks
Great tip Rodrigo. Thanks for sharing it!
nice one =)
Thanks!
Thanks friend, good idea ... can this result be achieved with this technique? apply dynamics to a tail and at the same time control the pose. ua-cam.com/video/HBoAm4uKlww/v-deo.html
but in C4D
you can apply dynamics of course, but i think in case of tails a Hacky PSR can do the job and its much more controlable lets say.
Brilliant. Never thought of abusing it like that :D
what if I want to get another object instead of the parent object
Easiest way is to a link field to the user data and drag that into the editor to get the name. put op in front and assign it to a variable.
Simples, direto e resolveu 70% do meus problemas com texturas, valeu grande Rodrigo!
Muito bom, Rodrigo! Valeu!
muito bem explicado valeu
Obrigado David
eu não conhecia este tang !
que daora!.. continua aeee :D
Boa!!
Bem legal Rodrigo! Obrigado por compartilhar!
Opa, que susto, pensei que o vídeo não voltaria ao ar. Parabéns Rodrigo, obrigado pelas dicas.
muito bem explicado valeu !!!!!!!!!!
