Be very careful. One fall can ruin your career. I was a very good skater/ice skater and my college teacher found out and asked me to choose: Percussionist or skater? I picked Percussionist and still went skating the next weekend. I was just standing there and I lost my balance and boom, on my behind but I tried to break my fall and bent my wrists. Couldn't play at all for two weeks but I had to still play for her so I was in pain. That was it. I don't do anything that could hurt my hands so I only play pool as my sport.

My goodness this has got to be one of the best sounding live recordings of a marimba on UA-cam. Wearing my headphones those low bass tones just send me! What a piece and what amazing artistry from Tanel!

Insane job sir! Well done. The only thing I would criticize is your mallet choice. They did not seem to project well at the upper end of the marimba. I personally would go with some harder mallets to bring out the voicing in that register. Great job none the less👌
