Dude i was searching for the place of power when i climbed my way yo and then reached the pop, but then i couldn't find my way back so i started exploring and then reached this place and fought imelrith too. It was kinnda funny. But then i jumped off the cliff mid fight cos i didn't want to the game to glitch in case i killed him this way.

To get down, go to the bridge near the place of power and slide down into the chasm below it. Then you walk past the pool of water down there and through a small ravine passage between two large rocky parts of the mountain. That will get you to the edge of the map and you just walk until the game pulls the world map up and makes you fast travel away :)

Follow the path down and run to the world's edge. It will let you fast travel to another location.

Hey in case you’re interested I found a way back down to the bottom of the mountain you can get to without having to worry about falling/dying anywhere. You have to go through the cave that you go through in the mission that takes you up there and when you get to the place where you fight the Sylvan or whatever it is, the big fat devil guy, you need to follow the path through the cave that Ciri takes to fight the crones. Once in that chamber where she fights them you can find another corridor branching off from it that will lead you all the way out. Idk why they added that in considering it’s not actually a place you’d go to except on mission...
