Yes and mine is Ho by Lima no Oo the motor is in the tender and it absolutely flys if I don’t keep an eye on it Perhaps you can get some stick on weight they are available but I don’t know where you can get them probably EBay 😃

Thank you 🙏 yes I do have some there are no issues with Pony see my Black Betty video it’s a huge loco but some steamers can’t make 600 mm radius but that’s ok I have a 4 ft round layout as well If you have time check out my videos on what does make it around it was very surprising The inner loop is 600mm wide radius and the outer is 630mm at one end and about 750mm at the other Great to chat 🎉

You should build a add on that is narrow and long enough to hold 2 trains or just a goods yard

Yes I am lucky the missus is onboard with everything I do as long as it can be removed quickly from the dinner table and they both can be installed and removed in less than 10 minutes Which is also great in winter and summer as I can be cool or warm also 🎉

Lima 4F are great locomotives. I have one too. More weight in the tender would improve it, but not sure where to put in, the tender is quite compact.

The stock couplers on the Tyco coaches are the NMRA couplers of mid century US. National Model Railroad Association (HQ Nashville Tenn) developed those "hornhook" couplers for train sets in HO as a universal style to replace every proprietary style in the 40s and 50s. Kadees were developed as a visual and performance improvement...as they looked very much like knuckle couplers and airbrake lines in North American railroads of the 20th century. There is a hybrid called Mate-o-Matics that look and function more like Kadee but also hook to hornhook NMRA cast couplers. You can still buy they and they can be on joiner cars. They will slip right onto the Tyco coupler pockets as they have two cast plastic feather springs to keep them centered. Some of your TYCO couplers have failed as they are wiggling freely. They are supposed to be sprung solidly to the left to stay coupled.

Nice locco I have the same locco in my Tri-ang collection . It's a Pacific Class Transcontinental locomotive . The genuine Hiawatha loccos had a nameplate either side of the smoke box . Looks like your loccoc could do with the magnets remagngtised .
