The Conchological Society of Great Britain & Ireland has been helping to understand, identify, record and conserve molluscs since 1876. On our channel you can find recordings of talks on all aspects of molluscs, from terrestrial slugs and snails, to bivalves, cephalopods, chitons and many more groups. As well as covering the study of molluscs, talks may also cover other interests, such as molluscs in literature, art, fossils, cooking etc.

John Hutchinson - A slug saga: historical confusions and new findings about Ambigolimax parvipenis
John Hutchinson (Senckenberg Museum of Natural History Görlitz) speaks on the historical confusion of the slug previously known as Ambigolimax nyctelius and the detective work that went into it now being named Ambigolimax parvipenis.
