What is the connection between @KarimZiad66 and @zikitdrums?
Karim is an enormous talent and one of my favorite drummers. When his album "Assala," with @omrimore and @mehdi_nassouli, came out it just blew my mind.
This part, taken from the track "Bayo," starts with 3/4 followed by 9/8. How's that related to Zikit Drums?
Playing music of such a versatile drummer, I need to have a versatile snare :)
Zikit is installed inside this 14x6.5" Ludwig Raw Brass Supraphonic
I used 12" setting for the first part, and changed to the 14" for the second part.

How many 10” snare sounds can you get out of a 14” snare? Transitioning from a 14” diameter to a 10” diameter is as easy as turning your snares on thanks to Zikit. Rimshots and cross stick sounds are easily attainable along with an added higher “FX” zone beyond the 10” bearing edge.
