Creating The Nightmare Before Christmas Well With Jack! UV Resin And Wire Art! Halloween Craft
I always wanted to make a big Resin Nightmare Before Christmas Project using glow powder for Halloween, so here it is.
And with big I mean this took forever. I hope you like it!
Let me know what you think I should try next.
I used different UV Resins, one from Pixiecrafting and one I ordered on Amazon (basically the one most people rated with more than 4 stars. Small tipp, to avoid the warping, you can try to hold the UV lamp a little further away. There's no guarantee it won't warp, unfortunately ^^' But I think in this case it is part of the charm - and helps to make this piece unique.
Materials I used:
✨ UV Resin: Pixiecrafting www.pixiecrafting.com/UV-Harz-dickfluessig-50g
✨ Tape: Pixiecrafting www.pixiecrafting.com/Klebeband-4cmx5m
The powders, alcohol inks and jewelry wire I ordered from Amazon (Germany).

Easy Tutorial - Faux Crystal Pendant with UV Resin, Metallic Alcohol Inc and Crushed Glass
Переглядів 672 роки тому
I think I've fallen in love with making pendants with crushed glass. The occasion for this one was the birthday of a friend. Btw the pink glitter is Mica powder! I mixed a little bit into some UV resin and painted it on. I thought a little contrast color would be nice. And I think I nailed it! What do you think? Let me know if this is how you like tutorials or if you prefer voice over instead o...
I Soldered my Resin Crystal!
Переглядів 292 роки тому
This Resin Crystal was one of the first things I ever made with Epoxy Resin. I wanted to either wrap it in wire or solder the edge, and I just went with the soldering. I'll upload a different project soon with more soldering so you can see how I actually did it 🤗 Credit for Music: Epidemic Sound

DIY Resin Skull! Two Skulls w/ SFX blood, brain & maggots / dichroic film & glow powder! No Flowers!
Переглядів 4,2 тис.3 роки тому
How I created two awesome yet so different resin skulls. Please wear a respirator and nitril gloves (I double glove) when working with resin. For the cute skull I'm using alcohol inks, Mica powder, glitter, chameleon powder, thick UV resin (pixiecrafting) and two component epoxy resin (BioPox ultra clear by Hackl). For the gory skull I'm using alocohol inks, silicone, silicone flow blood, thick...
Yeah, the second one was really cool. Loked like brains being eaten with worms!
@@honey562012 Thank you sm. That was what I was going for xD I still have so much of the material left, though.
To stop your glitter, etc. from falling to the bottom of your mold you can add 1 drop per oz. of Elmer's Clear glue. This will make your resin very thick and keep the glitter and mica powder, etc. from falling.
Wow, I see! I assume Mod podge works too, I might try this next time! At the same time I'm pretty confident that I could just wait for the right time to pour (after it thickened up a little), but your idea sounds less risky. The only risk I see might be a bit yellowing. I've coated some painted items with Mod Podge in the past and they seem to yellow slightly.
very cool! love the different subtle colours on the brickwork!
Thank you so much! I might do an update video soon, because it looks WAY different now.
Where did you get that resin vacuum I don't have enough room for large one!
Thanks for your question 😊I got it on Amazon. I assume you're not from Germany (I use Amazon.de), but try to find "handheld vacuum sealer", you'll find it under Specialty Kitchen Appliances > Vacuum Sealers! Btw, Resin tools like that are often taken from kitchen supplies, just rebranded and sold even more expensive, lol. So keep an eye out for that (Example: Dehydrator vs Resin curer)
😅absolutely great!
Thank you so much for your kind words <3
totally in LOVE with the gory skull, great work!
Thank you so much! Comments like this mean the world to me 🥰
Gorgeous and very different, thanks for sharing
love it!
Thank you, kind Apple <3
Really amazing, love it
Thank you, that's so nice of you to say 🥺
These are amazing!
No, u! :')
"I want it, oh, I want it! Oh, I want it for my own!" (from What's this)
Oh, the trick with the copper wire at 3:13 is amazing!
Thank you!
Really cool, thanks for sharing. I especially like the glow effect and the water ripple details.
This is magically creative and inspiring. Thanks for the great ideas and the laughs along the way
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback 🙂
They both came out awesome, you are very creative. The gory one is my favorite, I love it. What is the name of the vacuuming gadget you used, is there a link for it?
Thank you Sandra! The tool is just a normal vacuum machine for the kitchen. You usually use it to seal food, I got mine from Amazon. But since I'm german I don't know if my links would work for you AND it's not available currently. Here's the link www.amazon.de/gp/product/B093G7ZS1D Mabye try searching under "Handheld vacuum sealer".
Very nice artwork
OH also thank you for telling people to wear the respirator and nitric gloves! <3
Gotta protect our bodies, only got one xD
I am such a contradiction, I love the gore but I cannot stand it >D Amazing stuff here, really inspiring!
Would be so boring if we all liked the same things, hehe. Thank you so much!
Please don't underestimate alcohol inks and wear a respirator. I only decided to not do so in order to be able to speak properly. My window was wide open while recording, but that's not enough for regular work. While with the alcohol fumes I risked it for the sake of the video, latest if it gets to resin, safety is extremely important. You only got one life after all 😅
Where ist my dial 😉😘
😆🤣😆
Amazing thanks 🙏🏿!
You're very welcome! Let me know what you make 🥰

Hi Cristal, thank you! It is half craft room, half office and very small, but it does the trick. 🙂
watching this makes mit want to build things
Aw that means alot! Thank you so much.
25:21, I like that pumpkin the most! And love the punchy orange tint the inks give! 🔥
I'm glad you like it! That's tangerine xD It really helped to rub the color on instead of just letting it run down.
Coming soon: I make a custom watch dail for Seb 😉😉😉
xD
24:38 lol! Fun stuff :)
It's funny because it's true, hehe.
Shine bright like a diamond <3
Yeah, it’s the red one for me. Not so much because of the gore, but it’s RED! Both are great, though. The ghost in the other one was a really funny idea!
yeah, the cherry red color is awesome! I made a crystal with the same color, looks really neat.
Awesome introduction! Very motivational! 😁
Glad you like it!
Motivating, inspiring and funny...great!
Thank you so much 🥺
